Swedish singer, musician, guitarist and songwriter Pugh Rogefeldt made his big breakthrough in the late 1960's with his debut album, InchJeñ, deñ, eñ, deñ,Inch released in 1969 which contains the well known Swedish hits InchHere Comes the Night (Haer Kommer Natten)Inch and InchTell the Dusty Skies (Sma Laetta Moln).Inch Unlike other Swedish pop acts who were trying to achieve international recognition, Rogefeldt always wrote and sang his songs in Swedish. He made several albums during the 1970's and 80's which spawned a consistent string of hits and is still a well known figure in his native Sweden. Copies of Pugh's debut album on vinyl commands high dollar on the international collector's market, particularly among collectors of rare psychedelia. With his early albums often seen as his most experimental and influential, Rogefeldt's debut arrived at a time when Swedish pop was almost exclusively sung in English. Released internationally in 1970 with Vault records Ja, Dä ä Dä made a huge impact on the scene with most of it's original material sung in Swedish and set an example for similar artist all around the world. With extravagant and emotive performances spreading wildly across each carefully curated but carefree track, this early psychedelic, prog-rock playground is as unique as it is effective and features standout tracks including 'Love, Love, Love', 'Här Kommer Natten' and 'Jag Sitter Och Gungar'. Ada Morghe, i.e. Alexandra Helmig, is a versatile artist, living in London and Munich, who excels as a singer/songwriter as well as a renowned actress and author. She visits Jazz Workshops in New York, London and Burghausen, and toured for some years with guitarist Uli Graner and band in Germany, mostly with jazz standards and cover versions. Her debut album InchPicturesInch features all original songs, creating moods in preference to stories. Inspired by famous authors like Cormac McCarthy and Dylan Thomas she creates relaxed atmospheres full of subtle sentiments, with a touch of nostalgia. She is supported by an impressive musical line up Livingstone Browne, bass and co-producer, who worked with Kylie Minogue and Bryan Ferry, and produced, among others, Steve Bruckstein and Maxi Priest. Luke Smith, long time keyboardist of the George Michael band, worked with Alicia Keys and Jamie Cullum and was co-writer for Amy Winehouse and The Sugarbabes. Josh InchMcKnastyInch McKenzie, who is the regular drummer of Wretch 32 and Naughty Boy. And Italian-born guitarist Luca Boscagin, who appears on several Jazz festivals in Europe.
