I loved the original game.. the game play n update in graphics is amazing hope they redo the second one as well.. can never go wrong with atlus

In a nutshell, the game is a supernatural and historical fantasy action-adventure role-playing game that takes 20 to 40 hours on a first playthrough. The original game was released in 2006, but the game's story and pacing is still pretty good, and this remaster touches up the character models and color palette. Things are a lot less brown compared to the original. The gist of the gameplay is: you (Raidou) follow the directions of your spirit guide (a cat named Gouto) as you track and eliminate demonic threats in 1930s central Japan. Combat is mostly real-time action as you use a sword, gun, spells/skills, and up to 2 demon allies against hostile demons. The game is pretty accessible in that: you can adjust the difficulty before a hard fight, grind XP on enemies to improve your attack and defense, and use healing items liberally. With flexible combat and a kooky story and characters, I highly recommend the game.

Outside of maybe some preference for the PS2 originals pre rendered background aesthetic, this is basically a ground up remake of the game with vastly improved gameplay and quality of life features that I feel basically removes any reason to play the original. A much much better effort after the mediocre job Atlus did with Nocturne Remastered

An old ps2 game come to life in the new age. You like grinding and dungeon crawler type rpgs this is the game for you. Not as popular as the personas but still a decent spin off.

Played the original back in the day. The improvements help make this ps2 title even better.

So far great storyline and different side quests that will keep things interesting. Good for players who like a story element in addition to monster gathering and fusion.

Great remaster for a PS2 classic. Updated graphics and controls make it worth replaying, or playing for the first time for those who never played the original.

The game runs and looks great on PS5, and the combat itself was very interesting. And of course the music was bangin'.
