Best Wired Mouse
I love this mouse, I haven’t experienced any problems with it and the response rate is basically instant.

Great advance, but too soon and too much.
Overpriced for a technology that's needed- but not yet viable. With modern CPUS, even with the strongest rigs and setups, the performance hit of 8k polling rate is still too much. With modern games that are well optimised like OW and valorant, you'll still see but frame divits/stutters.

Ultra-Responsive Performance
As an avid gamer who demands precision and performance from my gaming peripherals, I was excited to try out the Razer Viper 8KHz Lightweight Wired Gaming Mouse. Razer has a reputation for producing high-quality gaming gear, and the Viper 8KHz promised some impressive features that piqued my interest. Design and Build: The Razer Viper 8KHz boasts a sleek and ambidextrous design, making it suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users. Its symmetrical shape provides a comfortable grip, and the lightweight design enhances maneuverability during intense gaming sessions. The matte black finish gives it a stealthy look that complements any gaming setup. However, it's worth noting that the matte finish can pick up fingerprints easily, requiring occasional cleaning. Performance: The highlight of the Razer Viper 8KHz is its impressive 8000Hz polling rate, making it one of the fastest gaming mice on the market. This ultra-high polling rate translates to an incredibly responsive and smooth gaming experience. The mouse cursor feels incredibly accurate and snappy, which is a game-changer in competitive gaming scenarios. The optical sensor is top-notch, providing true 20,000 DPI sensitivity, ensuring precise tracking across different surfaces. I found it particularly useful while playing fast-paced shooters, where every millisecond matters. The mouse glides smoothly on most mousepads, and the PTFE mouse feet minimize friction for effortless movement. Customization: Razer is known for its customizable gaming peripherals, and the Viper 8KHz is no exception. Using Razer Synapse software, you can reprogram all the buttons to suit your preferred gaming style. The onboard memory allows you to save up to five profiles, so you can easily switch between different gaming setups without losing your customizations. The Chroma RGB lighting is a nice touch, allowing you to sync the mouse's lighting with other Razer Chroma-enabled devices. The lighting effects are vibrant and add a visually immersive element to your gaming environment. However, some users may find the lighting distracting, especially during competitive play, and it can be disabled if desired. Durability: The Viper 8KHz feels well-built and sturdy, and the optical switches are rated for an impressive 70 million clicks, ensuring long-lasting performance. The braided cable is durable and prevents tangling, but some users may prefer a wireless option for even more freedom of movement. Ergonomics and Comfort: While the Viper 8KHz is designed to be ambidextrous, some users with larger hands may find it slightly small, especially if they prefer a palm grip. Claw grip users, on the other hand, may find it more comfortable due to its compact design. Overall, the comfort level varies depending on individual hand sizes and grip preferences, so it's essential to try it out before purchasing. Conclusion: The Razer Viper 8KHz Lightweight Wired Gaming Mouse is an impressive addition to Razer's gaming mouse lineup, offering excellent performance with its ultra-high polling rate and responsive optical sensor. The customizable features and stylish Chroma RGB lighting add extra flair to any gaming setup. However, its ambidextrous design may not suit everyone, especially those with larger hands. If you're a competitive gamer seeking a lightweight and ultra-responsive gaming mouse, the Razer Viper 8KHz is definitely worth considering.
