I found all cut wires and debris all over the floor. There were grease rings on the leather seats. Cover not put back on properly. Not good experience. I wanted to take it back but I it might get worse. I think my guy was “high”. He acted sleepy and odd.

First installation was horrible it was a hack job cost me a $385 battery. But Best Buy did honor up and replace the battery and did an install correctly

The camera wasnt working properly when he handed me my keys but he told me he would research why and call me in a few days. The next day the camera was worse and I discovered he had disconnected my trucks microphone. The camera screen flashes when in reverse and the picture cuts off. When I hit my brakes in drive or reverse I got a jumbled picture of letters and colors. He never got back to me about fixing it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and patiently waited 2 weeks.

Love the Geek Squad.... always provide the best service. My first 2 dashcam installations were free of charge as a TotalTech member. The 3rd time around, the installation cost almost the same price as the dashcam, and the full price was not discloseded at time of purchase so that was the only mark down in stars.

I had my mirror dash cam installed at a Best Buy store, and the service technician did a commendable job. While the installation was efficient and the camera setup was done well, there was a minor issue with the seat belt after the process. I returned to the store two weeks later, and the same technician fixed the issue promptly without charging any additional fee. The technician displayed friendly behavior and professionalism throughout the process, which made the experience more pleasant. Overall, a reliable service experience despite the initial hiccup.

I got this as a deal I believe and decided to put it in my old ride. It took me a long time to decide to pay to have it installed, but now that I have it- I enjoy having it. I think it is weird to have a camera view of behind me while driving. It can look a little scary when someone is pulling up close behind me, especially at night. It makes little chime sounds when I turn on and off the car, which makes my old car feel newer lol I notice that somehow the camera actually moves up for a better view when I put the car in reverse. I keep planning on adding a memory card but have not. I barely learned how to actually use it properly as it has more options than just a rear view camera. It also has the date and time on it. Did I mention it cost me more to have it installed than the item cost? I am hoping that it adds some value to my old ride! No regrets for me. Oh, this review was supposed to be for the service itself- YES, they were great- but there are always many variables. Mine was wonderful and I even returned for something and they took care of the issue immediately The only problem I had was once they gave my car keys to some other customer and when I came they were like, oops. I am not sure how that happened at all BUT so far I have not had my home broken into or anything. The car isn't work 3K so I know they weren't doing anything to steal it. lol Just weird and probably a mistake

The Best Buy employee that mounted my camera in my vehicle was a complete professional in all aspects of this service. His name is Carlos, and he explained the process thoroughly, answered ALL of my questions and I am a happy customer as a result. I highly recommend Carlos and Geek Squad for this service

Great install. Great service from the installers. The Customer Service rep who booked my appointment made some errors. When I showed up for the install, I was turned away and had to reschedule for a later date. For the inconvenience, the install crew knocked a couple dollars off and got me in at their next available appointment.

I arrived early and work started a bit late - not a big deal. No waiting area and one of the techs implied rather clearly that waiting in the installation area was impeding them. Not a warm and fuzzy comment! Three guys working, only one of whom seemed customer oriented. I had clearly told the installer well in advance when discussing over the phone and at check in that the rear view mirror would be replaced as part of the project. One even tried to tell me I should have bought the "tie on" version in the store. Not once was I told there was an up charge for replacing the mirror. Not until I was checking out when the installer handed me a bill for an additional $32. Pretty crappy way to handle! And the charge seems exorbitant to remove and replace a couple of screws. Maybe it was warranted, but I should have been told BEFORE the work was done! Other than that and the lack of a waiting area installation was fine,
