Customer Ratings & Reviews

Worked great for me for 2+ years and still going strong.

These batteries are definitely a must buy. The quality is definitely worth its price mark. Long lasting and durable.

Best battery & long life for the Sony RX10 IV Camera. Highly recommend! Can take photos like this…

Pleasantly surprised that this little battery held the charge for so long. 45 to a hour at least.

Works great fit right into the camera charged up pretty fast

Great easy to use battery. Long lasting and very reliable.

Works great with the Sony Alpha 7II. Charges and works as it should.

This is a very good battery it lasted a very long time.

OK, but it needs a longer charge life. I will get another one for two extra spares sense I take a lot of pictures.

5 Stars – Reliable and Long-Lasting Battery! I recently purchased a Sony battery and couldn’t be more satisfied. It performs exactly as expected—holding a strong, consistent charge and lasting a long time between uses. Whether I’m using it for my camera or another compatible device, I’ve noticed improved performance and reliability compared to cheaper alternatives. It also charged quickly and didn’t overheat. Definitely worth the investment if you want a dependable power source from a trusted brand like Sony. Highly recommend!

This battery is amazing, it works perfectly with my Sony NEX 5R!! Its OEM, do not buy elsewhere, other places offer a similar battery at half the price with disappointing results. IF the price of this battery is what keeps you from buying ***Read the BEST BUY price match policy it will save YOU MONEY!!! ;)

Switched from Canon DSLR to Sony mirrorless and am loving it. Should have known long time back. Anyway I would definitely recommend hobbyist or pro photographers. It's amazing size makes easier to carry around and shoot but my only concern is the battery life. It just drains out quickly and I would suggest an extra batteries. Hope Sony improves the battery life or supply more than 2 batteries. It would definitely help. Thank you Sony for making such a wonderful camera.

Having tried cheaper versions of this battery for our video camera and them both dying after 2 uses I'm back to only buying Sony ones. I tried buying these from Amazon but there a very lengthy delay, so looked for other places to purchase from. BestBuy is online, who knew - sorry guys but I didn't. Ordered and received within 2 -3 days. Was informed of delivery every step of the way too, same price as Amazon AND free delivery! So if I need anything else electronic I'll come here.

I love taking lots of pictures when I travel, so having two fully charged battery packs that I can rely on is great! It's terrible when you find that one thing that you'd love taking a picture of, but can't because your battery pack just died! Well, having this second fully charged battery pack has worked out great! It's somewhat bulky, but fits well in the pocket of the typical Sony camera bags. And I recommend buying this Sony name brand; works well with the a6000.

Nice battery and perfect fit for my camera. No issues so I can’t complain

Okay, so a couple of months ago, I purchased a Sony A6000 from Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier (see that review)! I started with the battery it came with because I thought I would snapping a couple of photos here and there, nothing too crazy. Well I was completely wrong!!! I fell in love with that camera, and then fell in love with photography even more! I could not put the camera down. I started taking it everywhere! So what's a guy to do when the camera dies? Purchase another battery of course! And that's exactly what I did. I purchased not one, but two more of these Sony - NP-FW50 High-Capacity Lithium-Ion Batteries. Yes, there are off brands you can purchase for cheaper, but my outlook on that is, why buy cheaper products for a high quality camera?! That defeats the purpose. These batteries charge fast, hold a charge for a long time (depending on usage of course), and even tell you the percentage of battery left on your sony camera screen. Plus, Sony is definitely a name you can depend on, and they back up their products if you have any problems. Anyway, definitely recommend this product for any of the sony line cameras. A bit pricey, but you won't regret it. Tip: You can find these on sale from time to time at bestbuy.com OR the other option is, find them cheaper somewhere else and Best Buy will PRICE MATCH! They are amazing at price matching.

Great battery replacement for my Sony digital camera! The charge has held up well with no issues after a few weeks of using it so far.

The Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for Sony NP-FW50 is a must-have accessory for any Sony camera enthusiast. This battery packs a powerful punch in a compact design, offering long-lasting energy to keep your camera clicking away. Whether you're shooting high-resolution photos or recording 4K videos, this battery ensures you have the juice to capture it all. Its lithium-ion technology means it can be recharged repeatedly, making it a cost-effective and eco-friendly choice. With the NP-FW50, you'll never have to worry about running out of power during a crucial moment. It's the perfect companion for Sony mirrorless cameras, providing the reliability and performance you need to take your photography and videography to the next level.

I love this battery for the size and portability, only thing i wish was that it would be a bit cheaper. but other than that, its enough power for a good photo session.

original. holds battery much better than aftermarket ones
