I love my remarkable! I take notes for work all the time and this has kept me so much more organized. The writing experience is almost exactly writing on paper but with the digital convenience of being able to organize in different folders and add tags for searchability, all in a really pleasing form factor.

The pen is upgraded and the writing is very smooth but the best thing is the size - it becomes a great carry along for any meeting. Great construction and look/feel. Great

This was the perfect addition to my "Remarkable" universe. As an owner of a Remarkable 2 and Paper Pro, I found the "Move" to be an excellent and convenient addition. Its size makes it easy to carry, and the notes taken while using the Move transfer nicely (formatting-wise) to the other devices. If you already own a Remarkable, the Move is a very nice addition. If you don't own a Remarkable, the Move is the perfect choice to introduce you to the product line. It works great on its own and is also a very nice addition for those already using a Remarkable.

I love the portability of this product and basically take it with me everywhere. There did happen to be a two day period where the tablet froze for nearly 48 hours. It only turned back on after about 24 consecutive hours of ininterrupted charging, Hopefully that was the only problem and from here on out I’ll just make sure I avoid depleting the battery completely before recharging it. I do feel better knowing that the tablet has a one year warranty through reMarkable which extends even further for their connect subscribers.

Best piece of tech I own. Lowest latency pen makes for the smoothest writing experience. The portable unique 16:9 size fits perfectly in my hand for one handed writing. Easy to use. Easy to navigate. Have been using this for note taking on the go, journaling, to-do lists and just organizing my thoughts. Have previously owned reMarkable 2 and Kindle Scribe. This is in a category all its own. Some may balk at the steep price but this is product is well worth it! Highly recommended.

I’ve only had this for a few days, but it is definitely what I thought it was. I used to take notes on my iPad, but the notifications and other alerts always drew my attention away. Now, this tablet is so boring I can focus on what I need to capture. Love it

Portable and powerful, this little device has changed my workflow for the better. I'm no longer forced to carry my 10.3" reMarkable everywhere I go. The syncing is seamless and fast. The ability to carry my notes with me everywhere I go was already there on the mobile app, but you couldn't *take* notes on the mobile app. Now, I have full access to all of my notebooks everywhere.

This item is amazing. I had the remarkable paper pro but felt that one was too expensive so i returned it for the move and been nothing but happy with it. Paired wirh my kindle paperwhite i am in productivity heaven. The screen feel is the best part… it feels better rhan writing on paper.

The remarkable sync wouldn’t work, this allows you to see your notes on iPhone, iPad and Mac. It was frustrating as customer support didn’t respond to my email. I recommend just using an iPad with OneNote, that sync is flawless and the writing experience is good!

It's expensive. I wanted to like this, I really did. The size is good. I like the smaller form factor. It sticks out of the pocket, but it still fits in there, need be. The folio case was also nice. I like that the pen, sorry, marker, fits in properly with the case. It feels like paper, in the same way an Impossible burger tastes like a real hamburger to a carnivore; a few bites in, you realize you're not eating the real thing. You can doodle on it and have some fun in that aspect. You can write notes with it. And that's it. I wanted it to do more. I was looking for an upgrade for my kindle- the base 2024 version. I love the legibility of the grayscale e-ink screen with a blacklight, but the base version has the smallest screen. I wanted slightly larger screen, and not necessarily a full magazine like the other reMarkable options. I like that I can read a book and not have my wrists getting tired. It checked all boxes for what I was looking for, except for one. Two, actually. I have the problem, like so many others, where most of my e-books were purchased on Amazon. They make it really hard to move books (that you purchased) over to other devices. I can't entirely blame Amazon for this issue, as part of it is on me for not wanting to re-purchase a bunch of books. (Sarcastically. I don't think I'm the only one that believes this.) I found a workaround, but that option was to e-mail myself a copy of the books, but since I had to work around with my laptop, it seemed really inconvenient to do so. It reminded me of back in the day when I had mp3 players for music and couldn't use them for a day because I had to load all the music in first. I wish this came with an app store, that gave me access to things like an e-mail client or even Amazon's Kindle or other digital book stores, I also don't understand why I can't hardwire via USB this to my laptop-I have to go through the app, or a web browser. It also lacks bluetooth. While I don't need WIFI to use this as a digital notebook, I'm limited on all the other features this device claimed to have. I tried setting this device up in a cafe over a public network, but I don't feel safe with that as my only option. Also, because this device doesn't have a web browser, I couldn't use the cafe's wifi. (laptop wifi opens a "agree to terms and conditions" page before they let you go online) I think I was looking for an e-reader with e-ink first with the capability to write. This is a device meant for writing and drawing first, everything else after. It's probably why I can't transfer files from this to a laptop as easily as I would want to. If I was in school still and needed notebooks I needed daily, this may be better suited for me. But then again, at a $500-$600 price tag, as a student, I would not be able to afford this. If this could read books, I'd be a fan. If Best Buy had more Kindle Scribes in stores by me, I more likely would have gone that route. It's oddly specific what this can do, but unless its what you need, I don't see anyone really needing this. It's really a "nice to have" gadget, especially for the price. The people who get a smaller gadget like this is doing so because they don't want to carry extra things like other devices. I really wanted this to do the few extra things like be a decent e-reader. I also wanted something I could occasionally sketch on. Unfortunately, that random screen refresh if you use any color got really annoying really fast. Also, the matte finish they use to give you that "paper-like" drawing experience is essentially a really fine sandpaper for your marker tips. I've read some reviews saying their stylus tip barely lasted two months. I went to two stores, played around with 6 units, only 2 had workable styluses, as the tips were too worn down on the others. Over the years, I've used several Galaxy Tabs and Surface laptops, both with pens. I think I've only replaced the tips no more than once on any of those previous devises. If I'm spending upwards of $500+ on a device, I expect a certain level of longevity out of it. I'd personally give up paper-feel for longer lasting pen tips. All that being said, what I like about Kindles, is that they do one thing, but they do that one thig well, also at a significantly cheaper starting price. Perhaps I picked this up with using it for things it wasn't entirely intended for. When it fell short in what it was meant for, I couldn't justify spending this much money on it. On a list of similar devices, I can't see its justification for being at the highest in price only. I understand limiting technology, and perhaps taking things away. In that philosophy, it's not okay to charge more for those things taken away.

My needs for this device: - I want something I can easily jot quick notes on - A way to track my “honey-do” list - It has to be pocketable - A stylus is a must The Move checks all these boxes—some better than others. Hardware The hardware is solid. It feels well-built, and the power button and USB-C port are really all I need on a device like this. The screen looks great, though I personally don’t care much about color. What did turn out to be essential is the backlight. Checking my grocery list in the car at 5 a.m. before heading into the store really showed me how useful that backlight is. It’s easy to hold in one hand, jot down a note or cross something off a list, and then slide it right back into my pocket. That kind of frictionless experience is exactly what I was after. Software The software is good. Right now, I only have three notes: 1. A to-do list 2. A grocery list 3. A scratch pad Yeah, I’ll admit it this device is probably overkill for how I’m using it. I definitely need to explore more of what the Move can do. But honestly, aside from some pen and color options, it’s basically a souped-up Field Notes notebook for me right now. First Impressions The form factor is what makes this device a winner for me. It’s compact, capable, and convenient. I plan to look into some of the templates mentioned in the Reddit community to see what else I can do with it. That said, it does feel limited out of the box. It’s mostly just a really good note-taking device. I’d love to see tighter integration with Google services like Calendar and Keep in the future. But, I do recommend it for some one looking for a small and compact e-ink tablet.

The best purchase ever. I used to have several notebooks for work and personal notes, but with this tablet, that's no longer necessary. The writing experience is wonderful, it's portable, and the battery lasts two weeks. It's the best idea ever, with lots of writing options and colors. Highly recommended.

So, you have to really understand what you are buying. This is a replacement for a note pad that has some extra abilities thrown in for good measure. Is it worth $500? Not really, but I have found that I love using it. The key to really appreciating this device is going on ETSY and downloading whatever template you need (they do cost money). The other good use for it is reading ebooks. There is some restrictions on what type of books can be downloaded, but with a little searching you can find ways to install new releases on the device. Overall, I really do like it. I just wish it was $200 less.

I love the small size. I can put it in my purse and carry it around when i need it. Just wish there were 2 pens to switch from on the menu like the RMPPro big one. I guess because of the compact size they only allow one. You have to tap on it to switch pens. A little laggy changing pages.

The device does what it does better than any device out there (except maybe the Kindle Scribe) and the form factor is nearly perfect (I'd like it maybe a little smaller). However, like all reMarkable products, it's very expensive. I also wish reMarkable would provide some third-party app support. Being able to run Obsidian on their devices would be killer, or even just a proper epub reader like ReadEra. I'm hopeful that these will come with time, as I know the user base is asking for it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — My Desk Has Never Been So Boring (In the Best Way) You know that pile of random sticky notes, torn notebook pages, and “I’ll remember this later” napkin scribbles taking over your desk? Yeah, mine looked like a crime scene investigation board. Enter the reMarkable 2. Poof. Gone. All of it — now living peacefully on one sleek device. My desk is so clean my wife thought we got robbed. Endless notes. Everything synced across all your platforms. Never lose an important thought again — not even that genius idea you had at 2am that you were absolutely sure you’d remember in the morning. (You wouldn’t have. Trust me.) If your desk looks like mine did, do yourself a favor. Your notes deserve a home. Your desk deserves a break. 10/10. Would digitize my chaos again.

Just as good as the Paper Pro, but on the go. It's a great size. I take it everywhere I go. I love journaling and documenting everything and this makes it easier. Love the color. Love the eraser on the marker so you can keep the thoughts flowing seamlessly. It's like paper; only better!

Great device. Portable, easiest electronic device to write on. The Marker Plus works great with different writing styles. Awesome templates for different notes. Has really helped keep thoughts and tasks organized for improved productivity.

So far so good, compact, feels like writing on paper, etc. But it's very clear that (if you were used to bound paper notebooks before, as I was) you have to learn and adjust to the device document and filing system to make it useful. I have yet to learn but am rating this now based on my optimistic view that I will be able to

It’s been fun to take notes on it. I still haven’t found the most seamless way to integrate it in my daily work flow, but it’s a nice note taking device. The battery does last. I used it all day at a training, and it wasn’t 100% charged, but it lasted the entire time. It’s really expensive for what it is, though. Sometimes documents are hard to see even with brightness all the way up. It’s better to just take notes on a template.
