Disappointment

This was a disappointment. This solar charger broke the first day I used it. The solar regulator ripped out of the solar charger because it is held on with 4 tiny screws, which are screwed into canvas fabric. I’m returning for something different.

Good USB charging

Decent portable USB solar panel. It is light and the three panels fold down to the size of portfolio binder. It seems pretty sturdy, but The module with usb connection became detached from the back of panel fairly easily. It appeared to be attached to the fabric backing by four tiny screws. The wiring remained intact , so I simply reattached it with double sided tape. Other than this issue , it has performed well. I own several other renogy products and been satisfied with them thus far. A usb -c & micro usb cable ( both pretty short) are included along with a pair of carabiners.I

This is an amazing product that worked well right out of the box! I work outdoors and it’s nice to be able to charge my devices in the field.

Needs charge controller to work properly.

This product cant charge a Samsung or Motorola phone without a charge controller. I'm disappointed due to the lack of all needed parts in one package or the warning that additional parts are needed.

The E.FLEX 21 Portable solar panels should work to charge a Samsung or a Motorola phone without a need for a charge controller since this device has USB ports as output.
