The installation process was incredibly straightforward, and having a free 32GB SD card included right in the box was a huge plus. It’s packed with great features and works perfectly. Small camera great features

Ease of installation and camera clarity. Small camera that does not obscure view. Great features for the price.

front dash cam with wi-fi for the car as a gift

I purchased this as a birthday gift... my daughter drives a distance to work every day. There's always a chance of an accident. This camera will record the view. She is a very experienced and has a good record. Her insurance carrier gave her a discount on the insurance since she installed this gift... so it's the gift that keeps on giving.

    dads protection

bought for my dad, easy to install and use, much easier to program on app on phone instead of on small screen

Simple, but not very effective depening on needs

This product requires the use of the Rexing Connect app which is fine for some people, but annoying to me. Physical controls would've been nice. The hardwire kit, which I also purchased through Best Buy, wasn't compatible with this model. The camera works fine without it, but I wanted it to work even when my car is parked and turned off, the battery impact is noticable for the other camera I replaced this with, but mostly fine just have to remember to charge your battery every few weeks, I imagine it would be the same for this unit, you don't need to hardwire it and the camera works great with the included car adapter power supply. This device was not for me personally, but I can see the appeal.

Questions & Answers

  • Is the kit in the box to hard wire

No, this specific model doesn't have a hardwire kit come in the box with the dash cam; those are sold separately. Instead, this comes with a cigarette lighter charger to power the device. We would recommend the Rexing 360° Smart Hardwire Kit so both parking monitor features can work. If you have any more questions, please email support at care@rexingusa.com.
