Great camera for the price !!

Camera quality is great and very easy to set up, I have done wiring before for speakers so was easy to make everything look seamless and there was plenty of cord route all my cables in the headliner and side panels and even for the rear camera. The app is easy to use and simple to set up. And for having 4k quality front and rear the price is a steal compared to other cameras.

    My First Dash Cam

I drive a 2015 Prius, and I’m starting college soon. This dash cam has pretty good quality, however it doesn’t advertise that you need a hardwire kit (sold separately) to use parking mode. The reason I bought this specific dash cam was for the included parking mode, in case a student hit my car while I was gone. I haven’t tested it out on road yet, since I’m waiting for my hardwire kit to arrive but I have high hopes for this dash cam.

Rexing Dash Cam Front & Rear

Just had for about a month now but everything seems to be running smoothly with this new cam and Best Buy did a great job installing. However, there is interference with Android Auto when trying to access the videos with WiFi on the Rexing app so still trying to figure that out. Also wish volume was a bit louder when the audio announces something, like "no WiFi" or "traffic camera ahead."

    Dual dash cam

Easy stallation and extra long cords to make sure you can reach where needed. Just wish it had extra sticky hooks to tuck the wires away.

    Great dash cam

Great dash cam for our daughters car. After being almost sideswiped on the way to school we wanted to get her a dash cam. This unit fit the bill and was not obtrusive on the windshield. Video quality is great on both front and rear camera and BestBuy Installation team was FANTASTIC.... I am considering getting on for my car.

Questions & Answers

  • Does the camera has night vision

It does not have night vision, as in goes black and white , but it does still have pretty good quality while recording during night time , I have reviewed footage of night events and I have still been able to read license plates and get good enough footage of faces . I'll add a screen shot of a night shot .

  • Does this use a micro usb or a type c plug for power?

    Type C

  • I currently have a Garmin dash cam and wanting a Rexing now. Does anyone know if the car port is the same - Garmin and Rexing? I don't want to have my car rewired.

Depends on the age of the Garmin. The Rexing uses a type c USB. The Garmin probably uses USB as well, but whether it is type c or not is largely dependent on its age. However, you might be able to use an adapter even if it is not a match.
