Milkshake is a band on a mission To create great rock music for kids. Led by singer Lisa Matthews and guitarist Mikel Gehl, whose songs for grown-ups have been featured in movies and prime-time television, and whose in die rock group Love Riot garnered critical praise during it's 10-year run, Milkshake has won over preschoolers without compromising song craft, stagecraft or their authentic rock n roll spirit. PLAY!, Milkshake's long-awaited third CD, is a hook and harmony-filled celebration of every kid's desire to just have fun. The new disc covers all the bases, with songs about baseball, bowling, pretending, playing music, parades, planting a garden and just plain going wild. Zilched's upcoming LP 'DOOMPOP' is a punchy track that juxtaposes a deceptively gentile vocal melody with wall-of-sound grunge guitars and a driving backbeat. The four minute tune boasts a more complete production style than past releases, but the real showcase is the craftsmanship with which Zilched constructs her songs and continues to refine her musical style. Album Tracks 1. Blue Doom 2. The Knife 3. Sleeper 4. Velcro Dog 5. The Morning 6. Cry 4 Me 7. Dark Side 8. Sixteen 9. Teenage Insects
