![Marc Houle - Min & Soda - 12-INCH SINGLE [12 inch Vinyl Single]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/d1795e14-0825-48a8-a4a0-371c39b7014f.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
Marc Houle has long been an influence to electronic music. Having been an intergral part of Richie Hawtin's Minus tag in the early 2000's, he's well known for being a live act and producer-with affinity for analog gear and a sound that crosses between Detroit & Chicago with a new wave influence. Album Tracks 1. Min and Soda 2. Car and Driver

Since the of Foodman's debut album Shokuhin in 2012, the music of this Japanese artist has found ever larger audiences, developing along it's own inimitable path, as heard on a growing pile of albums and single releases, as well as at concerts all around the world. Now, more than ten years later, it is worth going back to the fascinating beginning, which sounds as refreshingly weird today as it did back then. While Foodman's music has often been described as a sort of lopsided relative of the Chicago-based footwork, it doesn't really resemble anything else, and this idiosyncratic approach was evident right from the start. Here, by being cut and diced into strange rhythmic structures, samples gain a dreamlike life of their own, simultaneously alien and charming, and without any resemblance to the real world from which they came. With this re- of Shokuhin, the album is not only being reintroduced to new Foodman fans, it is also being released on LP for the first time.

Vinyl LP pressing. 2019 from the Grammy Award winning artist. Produced by Simpson, Sound & Fury, was recorded primarily at the McGuire Motor Inn in Waterford, Michigan, with his bandmates Bobby Emmett, Chuck Bartels, Miles Miller, who all serve as co-producers along with Grammy nominee John Hill (Cage The Elephant, Portugal. The Man, Bleachers). The album - which Simpson describes as Incha sleazy, steamy rock n roll recordInch - is a marked departure from 2016's acclaimed A Sailor's Guide To Earth, which won Best Country Album and was nominated for Album of the Year at the 59th Grammy Awards. Album Tracks 1. Ronin 2. Remember to Breathe 3. Sing Along 4. A Good Look 5. Make Art Not Friends 1. Best Clockmaker on Mars 2. All Said and Done 3. Last Man Standing 4. Mercury in Retrograde 5. Fastest Horse in Town
