About this product
- That's how it feels like when listening to Alex Runo's music. Now meets then, high meets low, loud meets soft, and dirty meets the sweetest and most vulnerable. Even though there's some drama, build ups and unpredictable turnarounds, everything is flowing smoothly. Smooth as in symbiosis. Alex Runo and his co-writers have one important goal during the whole writing process, and that is to come up with songs that communicates, - songs that makes the listeners feel something, whatever that might be. They write music with lots of soul, and the best pay off would be if their music could touch other people's souls as well. Album Tracks 1. No Good Gone 2. A Change Will Come 3. Devil 4. Preaching to the Choir 5. Living & Breathing 6. Underdog 7. Focus 8. Paper Love 9. White Flag 10. I Am More Than This

DSU is the incredible breakthrough fifth album from Alex G. The first of Alex's records to be released internationally, in November 2014, DSU presented a crossover moment for the prodigious Philadelphian songwriter, then still 21 years of age and a student at Temple University. Entirely self-recorded at home, almost exclusively solo, and, until then, all self-released and available only via Bandcamp, Alex had already built a fervent online cult fan-base before his fifth album landed to a wider audience, coupled with his first shows in the UK and Europe that winter. Subsequent releases, including the first professionally mastered versions of earlier albums Trick and Rules in 2015, and his three follow up albums with Domino, have cemented him as one the best songwriters around. His fan-base, including the likes of Frank Ocean, continues to swell as more and more listeners discover his prolific back catalogue, with DSU a firm favourite and those same fans voraciously sing back every lyric at his worship-like live shows. Album Tracks 1. After Ur Gone 2. Serpent Is Lord 3. Harvey 4. Rejoyce 5. Black Hair 6. Skipper 7. Axesteel 8. Sorry 9. Promise 10. Icehead 11. Hollow 12. Tripper 13. Boy 14. Soaker 15. Album Tracks 1. Ceniza 2. Kamikaze 3. Idiota 4. Tintero 5. No Volveré a Pensar en Ti 6. Yo No Te Olvido 7. Siete Mares 8. Si Es Por los Dos 9. Tu Mejor Error 10. Mi Golondrina
Patching, the intimate debut LP from Minnesota-based singer and songwriter runo plum, gracefully captures the contraction, expansion and of an intense period of emotional repair, in soft-edged, radiating indie rock. The record's unbridled sincerity isn't anything new for runo plum, who's been writing and quietly sharing bedroom dispatches of her intricate folk for a half-decade. During the pandemic years, she steadily caught the ears of a widening circle of listeners and began independently releasing a series of singles and EPs, all while cutting her teeth on the live side supporting Searows, Angel Olsen and Hovvdy. Album Tracks 1. Sickness 2. Lemon Garland 3. Alley Cat 4. Halfway Up the Lawn 5. Be Gentle with Me 6. Elephant 7. Locket 8. Pond 9. Gathering the Pieces 10. The Quiet One 11. Darkness 12. Outro (Angel)
