I need a sharp glossy display as matte screens cause eye strain for me. Thus, text clarity, image quality, and panel quality were utmost important bc its 2025 and who can tolerate IPS glow, blooming, backlight bleed, bad viewing angles, and crazy high prices? While OLED would be ideal, I had a buget and also wanted built in speakers work calls. Enter the 2025 32” Q8F. Against the very similiar 2024 32” Q60D, there are small dicernable differences in visual quality. This display is crisp. The glossy finish has minimal anti-glare (a positive for me). I have an OLED glossy laptop and comparatively satisfied with the image quality if you leave out response time. Its hard to tell from an iphone 15 pro camera captured image but the TV (and monitor in my case) has excellent uniformity, viewing angles, and colors. The speakers are surprisingly good and plenty loud. While both Samsung and Best Buy list the 32” model with full array local dimming, I couldn’t determine the number of zones or find settings to adjust this making me cautious on this advertised feauture. So far, this appears to hit my stringent criteria as I have searched for the last four months for a display. Make sure to turn on Input Signal Plus on External Devics settings within the TV settings to uncap HDMI at 4K 30HZ to 60HZ. If you’re looking unconventionally for a solid monitor, this one deserves a look.

Set up was straight-forward. Picture was an upgrade from 720 Roku TCL tv. Default start is Samsung channels, which can be changed. Narrow bezel was nice. Mounted under kitchen cabinets, which fits under standard 18 inch.

This Samsung tv with "Qled" is first rate with a super clear, vivid picture. It's not quite as good as the much more expensive, larger Sony Bravia Oled, but it's a tiny fraction of the cost. It's a bargain for what you get. The downside as other reviews mention is the flat treble sound. Some buy a sound bar to improve it. I didn't bother because it is in a home gym where ghe sound really isn't a factor. I would also like to see a simpler user interface. Too many clicks to navigate. Plus alot of junk that I'll never watch. And amongst all of that, there is no PBS! This was obviously programmed by a gen z kid.
