Very pleased with this purchase. Purchased it on sale, it is a very high quality speaker set. The sound bar is small but powerful. The rear speakers were a little soft, but I turned them up through the settings on the soundbar. Setup was very easy, I just plugged the receiver in and the rear speakers connected to the soundbar automatically. Soundbar sits perfectly on top of tv legs!

Ok, so i hooked this up and it took my a bit to get it all set and working, and i must say, not bad for the price. I used it with my device and i do have dolby atmos so the sound it definitely two thumbs up for the size of this room. Later today ill be hooking it up to my tv. I am posituve it will give it the extra boost it needs. Happy with my product. Thank you.

So explain to me why the remote has a "Mute" (just to lower left of center ring) & "Volume" (right below it & why is this even on a remote) button? One would think the circle ring would be used to adjust volume but only good to adjust other settings. Unless there is some other function I am aware of, you can't adjust volume from remote, which is pretty stupid. User guide is about useless & pretty vague.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-A470 and for sharing your experience with the remote included with your new soundbar.
Please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. Pressing it a second time will unmute.

Excited to hook it up to my tv. To be disappointed that it’s NOT really wireless and my tv sounds better all by itself. This gave really no extra bass or even louder surround sound then my own 70’in tv. To bars I passed my return date. Should’ve read the reviews first. Listen learned :(

I’m sorry to hear that your out-of-box experience has initially fallen short of your expectations. You may want to try the wide range of audio adjustment settings to improve your experience to your liking.
You can try quickly optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, BASS BOOST, GAME, or ADAPTIVE.
You can try manually optimizing your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear) to access the setting items such as TREBLE, BASS, AUDIO SYNC, and REAR LEVEL. The selected item can be adjusted using the Up/Down buttons.
Additionally, using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down.

Like the title says, My best investment. I love this thing. Everything about it is perfect. If you want to tune out some annoying neighbors out, this is the prefect item to do so. I use mine everyday for mostly that reason. The sound quality is of this World. It is so crisp and clean. It reminds me of being in a movie theatre with all the big & loudspeakers. I would love to know if I can get some extra speakers for it as well as add on’s. You can put it on a level 12 & it is loud. Loud enough for the noisy neighbors to hear it & get annoyed by it. lol This is the prefect Jamaican that loves loud music like myself.

I decided to take a chance on this despite some of the negative reviews. The price, of course, was amazing—the whole system for the price of the wireless auxiliary speakers alone. I figured I could just upgrade the sound bar at a later time. Now I doubt I will need to. It may not be Dolby Atmos, but the sound is clear, well-balanced, and definitely surround sound. Installation was relatively easy (if you follow the directions) so I count this as a win.
