great quality 4k TV
I went through 2 other 4k TV's before keeping the Samsung Q8F. Tried the Sony Z9D and Samsung NU8000. The 8000 had difficulty with digital blurring and although the Sonys picture was okay it had issue with compatibility or syncing with my Apple 4k. The picture is great on the Q8F, I love the simplicity of the menu system and Samsung crushes the competition with their smart remote. During the setup it identified my Apple TV and Sonos sound system programing both the TV and remote to work with them. The remote also controls my Spectrum cable box (identified during setup as well). Moving to a 4k tv has taken some getting used too. I had a 58" plasma tv and will say, to me, nothing beats the picture quality of a plasma. However when you feed a clean 4k signal into the Q8F the picture is amazing. No digital bluring, excellent color, and very deep blacks. I chose the Q8 over the Q7 or Q9 as I did not like the connect box that those models use and the picture quality gained with the Q8 over the Q7 was worth the extra too me.The tv is in the family room within the basement so there are no issues with glare. Tv is very thin, light weight, and easy to setup.

Good TV, apps need help.
I needed to upgrade my 10+ year old Samsung 60hz TV. (Even if the wife didn't think so) I did a bunch of reaseach the regular UHD tv didn't have clarity I wanted and wanted best bang for my wallet. I don't get the best of best with my budget but saved and wanted something good that wouldn't feel like I waisted my money. I came to liking the Samsung QLED almost got the Q6 but went out to get the Q8. Glad I did. Playing with my Xbox one x games are amazing. I see such detal that no wonder people could see me and shoot me where my old tv told me it was dark lol. Hd movies and Netflix look amazing. The apps on it have stopped working randomly like YouTube won't load. Coupled this with a Sony sound bar and it's theater quality. Xbox one on this especially the x is fast and crisp. I played this side by side with my old tv and Xbox one. Games load quicker and when turning and jumping etc the old tv was lagging and new TV was amazing and has helped my kid ratio. Watching TV is amazing on this too.

Movie night in your living room.
Love it. Work wonderful with the features it had. Bright is awesome. Brighten up and at night, why go to the movie when you can experience high quality in your own livingroom. I recommend using surround bar for extra dramatic sound.

Great sharp picture and we love to watch hockey on this tv. It almost looks like you're looking out a window in the photo I've posted with my review.

Great picture. Remote easy to use. Lowest price
Picture has great color and contrast, even in sunroom. Need deep stand to accommodate support legs. Remote very intuitive.
