I used a Dyson stick vacuum for years and the Jet is better. Yes, I said better. My daughter talked us into rescuing three cats who joined our two terriers in controlling our house with their cuteness, but I digress. The constructions feels more premium and it does a great job of adjusting to different cleaning needs. Most do these days, I know, but here is where I like it better. The animals bring fur and messes, and the fur would sometimes clog the Dyson, but there was no way to clean out some of the areas, and ultimately it began to stink, badly. With the Jet, I can get to any place needing cleaned out of fur or any other clog. I can adjust the length of the main tube in seconds for my short wife or longer myself. I only wish it had a way to store the accessories on the tower.

I like this vaccum alot as its light weight and cordless makes it easier to carry around. The self cleaning feature helps with my allergies so i have a small ball to toss out. The only meh feature is the AI aspect. It adjusts depending on the floor type so its cool if you have rug or wood. But thats it. I would have thought there would be more. Idk perhaps it would say what you sucked up. I would go for it when its on sale.

Love it so far, had a Dyson V8 that was nice but this seems to have much better build quality
