Impressed with the speed of this laptop! Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight, very fast, and nice responsive touch screen. Setup was a breeze and other than the typical Windows updates that needed to be downloaded it was very quick and easy to setup. Fingerprint reader for security and quick logon is fast and secure for a password free sign on. Pin alternate is also easy to use if you have it hooked up to external display/keyboard with the clamshell closed. Camera is crisp for zoom and teams calls. - Note no physical camera privacy shutter, but not a big deal. Sound is good quality both out of speakers and with headphones via the audio jack or Bluetooth. The 3k Amoled Video is tight, fast and responsive both for watching streaming vids or gaming. Mouse/trackpad feels responsive and natural and the keyboard is full size and comfortable to type on. The 14” display and footprint are ideal for traveling on a plane, train, or general use. Plenty of disk space out of the box at 512GB and the SSD drive is very fast. Booting is quick. Didn’t notice a lot of extra software installed (which I prefer). Battery life so far has been great. Lasts most domestic flights at 3-4 hours depending on brightness and processor usage. Power pack is VERY compact and travel friendly. Overall I’m quite happy with this speedy, lightweight, super vivid display, and compact for travel footprint laptop.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro has everything you want in a laptop. Light and thin, with a beautiful, vivid OLED display, the Galaxy Book 6 meets all your computing needs. The Intel 7 processor is lighting fast, navigating multiple open browser tabs and software programs seamlessly. The OLED display really makes watching movies and shows a treat. And while the speakers aren't top of the class, they do a pretty good job considering how light and thin this unit is. The keyboard and mouse track pad both have really good feel to them, making it easy to tackle tasks such as editing photos, spreadsheets, and documents. The metal chassis makes this laptop look very upscale and really resists unsightly fingerprint smudges. The battery life is great - I used it for a couple hours a day over 4 days no problem without ever charging. I also never noticed the unit get hot and haven't heard any fan noise during use. There are a few cons with the Galaxy Book 6 Pro. First, I really wish the screen bezel wasn't so big. Such a nice looking display would look even better with minimal border. Second, I'm a little disappointed with integrated graphics. For such a premium laptop, I would like to see a dedicated GPU. But so far, I haven't really noticed any issues doing light gaming (Hollow Knight) and some photo editing. And finally, I don't understand why Fn lock is not a default setting with this laptop. When I first watched a video, I couldn't get the F7 and F8 keys to adjust the sound. Apparently you have to press FN and F12 together to get Fn to lock. I didn't really even know that existed since no other laptop I've ever used required me to do that. And when the laptop is restarted, you have to do Fn lock again. All in all, an impressive laptop that I would recommend without hesitation.

Four years ago I bought my first Samsung laptop--a 13.3" Galaxy Book2. I was skeptical because Samsung makes TVs, not laptops. It turns out, Samsung makes GREAT laptops! The Galaxy Book6 Pro is yet another fine, lightweight, sleek, powerful laptop great for home use and even better to take on the road. A dark blue-ish gray, this thin laptop feels strong. Mostly aluminum (?), the laptop opens to reveal an illuminated keyboard and large touchpad. There are 2 USB-C and an HDMI port on the left side of the laptop, and a USB-A and AUX audio port on the right. The processor is an Intel Core Ultra 7 which is more than enough processing power for the average student or home user, and the right amount for the power business user and even tackles AI tasks such as running Ollama, Claude Desktop or LM Studio fairly well (assuming you respect the recommendations of Ollama/LM Studio on a machine of this size). I am a tech nerd, but I won't pretend to fully understand how machines use CPU, NPU and GPU anymore, but knowing that NPU and GPU are utilized for AI tasks, you can be confident that asking Gemini or Claude a question is a task this machine can handle easily. The touchscreen is bright and responsive, however, Samsung chose to round the corners of the display which is a visual difference from other laptops. The fingerprint reader works very well for logon. Where this machine shines? BATTERY LIFE! Rated at 30 hours, you won't panic if you forget your charger (included) and because the laptop charges off a USB-C port, you can borrow a co-worker or friend's charger if you absolutely need it. Plus, it runs cooler and quieter than my Galaxy Book2. I still hear the fan when it is working hard, but it definitely isn't a distraction. It should be noted that this is not a "gamer's" notebook as it lacks a discreet graphics card. Honestly, the graphics, while adequate for streaming video and playing simple games, could have been upgraded to make this a "MacBook killer" but alas, if you want a MacBook, buy a MacBook. The integrated speakers are an improvement from most entry-level notebooks. Robust and rich for laptop speakers, but obviously not as immersive as your noise cancelling headphones or your home stereo system. More pleasant than traditional "tinny" sounding speakers you might be used to. A decent way to play some tunes in a hotel room and rich enough to capture the essence of a streaming action flick. One quirk that I hope is just an "adaptation issue" that will go away the more I use it but I have "double-tapped" letters a few times in the first week of heavy use. Ffor exammple, I have oon occasion seeen letterrs doubble upp on the screenn. [Never that bad, but it has happened more than once where I have had to go back and clean up an accidental, unintentional double letter that shouldn't be there.] I also find myself accidentally touching the touchpad with the fleshy part of my hands likely because I am not used to the large touchpad. Once again, Samsung has not disappointed. I didn't *need* to replace my Galaxy Book2 after four years but I took advantage of an opportunity to upgrade and I am confident I won't regret the decision to still with Samsung over the other traditional laptop brands.

This laptop really packs a lot of features in. Straight out of the box, the most noticeable is its beautiful form-factor. It's very slim and light. The screen size being 14in. helps sell its form-factor as well. The build quality is very premium and you can open the screen with only a finger. Talking about the screen, it's very vibrant and beautiful. The AMOLED is very pleasant to look at and working on anything that requires great colors is very nice to do on this laptop whether that's photo editing, video, etc. Because of that, watching movies and playing games on this is a nice treat. Based on my experience, the darks are pretty dark as well which makes anything on the screen really stand out. The integrated graphics on this is pretty good and it can handle most things thrown at it at lower specs but it's respectable and absolutely playable for any games. The keyboard layout is pretty good too and it's responsive. Playing games on it is okay. The battery life is really good and it can really last you about a work day. That's probably the best thing about this in my opinion. The productivity that you can do with this is great and the games that you can play as well works. This is more of a productivity laptop but if you want to game on the side, this will satisfy that nicely.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro is a premium 14 inch laptop that is light weight and has excellent battery life. In terms of use, it seems to try to compete in the MacBook Air 13 arena. The Book6 has and excellent 3K Amoled touch screen that can become very bright ( 120 Hz, 1000 nits) and an Intel Core Ultra 7 cpu that provides excellent performance for everyday use. The battery is rated for 30 hours but I found that in normal use of surfing the web, playing Youtube videos, and general business applications, I got around 11 hours. Graphics are handled by Intel integrated graphics so hard core gaming is not possible. The Book6 has both usb-c and one usb-a port but no sd card reader slot is provided. It also has a fingerprint reader. I found the Book6 to be very fast for its intended purposes and to last about a day and one half on battery. It comes with only 16Gb of ram and a 512Gb SSD which I found to be rather small for a higher priced machine. If you are looking for a well built, light, portable laptop at a premium price and don't mind the limitations of integrated graphics and a smaller SSD, I recommend the Book6.

I had the Galaxy Book 5 Pro and really, really liked it. Solid performer for the price, totally acceptable and adequate for day to day use. Super sharp (both literally and figuratively). At the time, I didn't have any other Galaxy devices to pair with it, and commented in that review how nice I thought it could be to fully play in the Samsung ecosystem (this coming from a very long time Apple fanboy). Since then, I got the phone, the watch and the earbuds. And you know what? This is still just a Windows laptop (womp womp). So, the clickbait gets you to the review, which is totally NOT about ecosystem (sorry, not sorry). The Galaxy Book 6, at a couple hundred dollars more this year than the 5 was last year, delivers on an almost identical experience, and is again limited by Windows 11 (which hopefully, some day, soon perhaps, Microsoft will try to fix). There is basically zero motivation to be in Samsung's ecosystem, with the few 'cool' features not being anything to write home about. The Book 6 has a solid keyboard and trackpad, and surprisingly good speakers for the very thin body. Very clean, very lightweight, and a joy to use. 3K, 120Hz touch screen carries over from last year in the same 16:10 aspect ratio, now coming in at 1000 nits (versus 400 from last year). This thing gets BRIGHT. Solid battery life, fingerprint reader, there's a ton to like here. I get that we're having a RAM shortage right now, but if you compare the Book 6 to the Book 5 Pro, there aren't a lot of differentiators. 32GB really ought to be the new 'standard' for these upper-tier ultrabooks (anything above 1300-1400), and yes, the newer Intel processor is going to give you some better performance, especially for AI tasks. That said, comparing last year's model to this one, it's hard to justify what would be a 30% price increase for very similar day-to-day performance between the two models. So, don't get me wrong–I think this is a slick laptop and it will definitely deliver a good experience to most end users, provided it is in budget. I'll even go so far to say that Intel is making great strides in the processor game, finally, compared to Apple silicon. But the value proposition is where this particular product starts to come apart at the seams…*and it's not even the product's fault*. It's inflated RAM prices…it's Windows 11…it's negligible year-over-year improvements. There are just better deals out there.

Simply stated, this is a gorgeous laptop. During unboxing, the first thing I noticed is how thin it is. The casing has beautiful angles and a form factor that's at the sweet spot. The second thing I noticed, somewhat surprisingly, is how much it looks like a certain "pro" laptop from its fruit-based competitor: it's practically a clone in dimensions, color and keyboard layout. Honestly, the resemblance is uncanny. The AMOLED screen is beautiful. The colors are vibrant and sharp, and the resolution is perfect for a 14 inch screen. The screen appears to be glossy, but the reflections are more muted than I would expect. The camera is a basic 1080p @30fps, but looks fine is good lighting. There is no facial recognition for Windows Hello, but the fingerprint reader is perfectly responsive and gives me no problems logging in. The overall performance benchmark results I ran for the laptop is only marginally better than the Snapdragon X Elite Book4 Edge I have. This was a bit surprising for the raw numbers; but in the end, I can't complain with the speed. The laptop performs great, stays quiet, has great response - including with the CoPilot+ AI functionality. This is a perfect laptop to have for work and travel.

The 14” version of the Galaxy Book6 Pro is an amazingly sleek, unbelievably light powerhouse of a laptop PC that makes an excellent choice for a busy professional or student, as long as you don’t have a need for gaming PC video performance. First impressions upon opening the box is just how thin and light the laptop is. Under ½ an inch thick and under 3lbs, this could weigh less than your laptop bag! The aluminum case is very fingerprint resistant, I have been using this for a full week and it still looks brand new. The keys are full size, although the arrow keys are a bit small, especially the up/down arrow keys, but overall for the size of this laptop, I consider the keyboard to be comfortable to type on. The backlighting on the keyboard is quite subtle, but honestly I think that’s a good thing, the keys are illuminated just fine and I’m certain that the lower luminescence helps with the very impressive battery life (rated for 30 hours of use, although as I type this review I am on battery power and it shows 25% battery left, 3 hours 45 minutes) So while you probably aren’t going to get the listed battery life, you could easily get multiple days use on a single charge. I will be taking this laptop on an African safari trip in July where I know I won’t have access to power every day, and believe this will be perfect for that. The touchpad is large and responsive as well. The next main feature of the Galaxy Book6 Pro is the screen clarity and resolution. The screen resolution is 2880x1800 with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and is absolutely beautiful to look at when watching ultra high definition videos, and is especially nice working on Microsoft Office documents with crisp, easy-on-the-eyes fonts. The screen is a touch screen which works really well, and like the case, is fingerprint resistant. The ports are pretty standard on the Galaxy Book6 Pro, HDMI and Micro USB on the left side, and a USB-A and a headphone jack on the right. I would have appreciated a MicroSD card slot as well for transferring pictures from my camera to the laptop while on safari, but I’ll just get an adapter the uses one of the USB ports. Not a huge deal, but at this price point ($1599 as I write this), I think they should have included that. The webcam at just 2 megapixels is adequate for Microsoft Teams meetings, but not even the same resolution as the screen is a bit puzzling to me. The speakers even at full volume aren’t LOUD, but the sound is sharp at peak volume and doesn’t distort, which suits me just fine. This just has integrated Intel Graphics for the video card, so I would avoid this if you are a gamer, I’m sure you’d be disappointed. But for viewing YouTube videos and other low demand tasks, it performs well. The biggest positives here are the most important features I am looking for; light weight, great battery life, crisp graphics, and a system that doesn’t burn my legs when using for hours at a time. The Galaxy Book6 Pro is super quiet and it never even gets warm, much less hot, with long periods of use. Overall, I recommend the Galaxy Book6 Pro as an excellent laptop for on-the-go professionals and students. The superior build quality, battery life, and size/weight make it perfect for most tasks.

Very premium looking notebook, full metallic matte finish, reminds me of the other popular fruit named brand. Solid and a little heavy for its size, this computer has a lot of high-end hardware to satiate the technophile in all of us. Samsung is a great consumer electronics company that's prized for their screen technology, which is why the Galaxy Book6 Pro has an amazing Dynamic OLED screen at an unheard of 3K resolution and 120hz refresh rate. I'm actually surprised it didn't come with a more robust graphics processor with decent memory. The screen is really the crown jewel of this PC, in my opinion, and it should be flaunted to the best of its ability. I'm not saying the Intel ARC GPU with 128MB memory is bad, it does quite well in everyday tasks and the occasional Netflix movie. It has a multi-touch display that is very responsive, but it smudges easily and is highly visible when watching a movie. I don't think I will be using it much though since the form factor doesn't flip to tablet mode. The speakers do a convincing job of surround effect; it sounds rich and clear. While watching an online video, I had to pause it because I kept hearing things coming from behind me. Battery life is impressive, but only when doing passive things like watching a movie. Once you start typing, scrolling, and generally surfing, you will see the levels plummet rather quickly. On average, I got about 5 hours until it got down to 20% when it engages battery saver and the screen dims. If watching a movie or consecutive online videos, the battery only consumes about 7% per hour. The included charger is quick to get you up to 65% in a half hour, and about an hour to full so there's no risk of excessive downtime on that long haul flight. You're probably not going to be able to use all the convenience features unless you're already a Samsung user. It has a second screen feature that allows you to wirelessly connect a Galaxy Tab to extend your screen. The Multi Control allows you to sync a Galaxy phone, transfer media and even type from the PC keyboard and trackpad on your phone. A slight drawback is the lack of face recognition despite having a camera. The fingerprint reading power button is located in the upper right side of the keyboard rather than a more easily accessible side access, but I guess it's manageable with an index finger; it wouldn't read mine since I burned myself and a portion of the print is illegible apparently. The Intel 7 Ultra does a great job making this PC quick and responsive, while not power hungry, it won't compare with a Snapdragon X Plus or Elite. I really like this Samsung PC for its premium feel, its stellar screen, and long battery life. It has a good CPU, great speakers, and responsive keyboard. It could've had a better GPU at this level, than the entry level Intel ARC gen 3. Buy it for looks and solid performance.

The Experience: I’ve used quite a few laptops, and the Galaxy Book 6 Pro stands out for its extreme portability. At only 3.5 lbs and very thin, it’s a breeze to carry all day. The standout feature is definitely the AMOLED screen; the colors are rich, and the blacks are deep, making streaming content look incredible. For my daily productivity work—lots of emails, web browsing, and document editing—the battery life easily lasted the entire day. The haptic touchpad is smooth and responsive, which is a nice premium touch. While I usually use a much larger workstation with superior audio, this laptop sounds surprisingly clear for its size, though it does lack some mid and bass frequencies. Performance Note: It’s important to know what this is not: a gaming or heavy 4K editing rig. While it can handle light work in those areas, the integrated graphics have their limits. I tested a few games on low settings, and it worked fine, but don't expect much headroom for anything demanding. For daily productivity and media, it's fantastic! Very snappy and fun. Pros: • Portability: Incredibly thin and light (3.5 lbs). • Display: Fantastic color accuracy and deep blacks—perfect for media. • Battery: Reliable all-day life for standard office work. • Touchpad: Responsive haptic feedback. Cons: • Audio: Clear but lacks low-end/bass. • Graphics: Integrated GPU limits high-end gaming and 4K editing. • Keyboard: Adequate and functional, but unremarkable. Verdict: I would definitely recommend this to anyone prioritizing portability and screen quality for productivity and entertainment. At this price point, the quality and performance are well-aligned.

I was amazed with how light the box of the book 6 was when it arrived. It's sleek and thin and in the box, there was only the laptop, power cord and power adapter that looks like a super fast charger for a galaxy phone. The metal body feels like quality and it's lightweight size make it perfect for travel. The keyboard is the typical chicklet key style. The power button is also a fingerprint reader and it's just as responsive as the touchscreen AND the huge touchpad. The OLED high resolution display was quite vivid and the touchscreen is very responsive. Storage is adequate with the half terabyte. This little beast handled everything I threw at it. I worked on graphics as well as multi-tasked with a couple of productivity apps including word and excel all while using browsers for Canva, surfing, and streaming. It had no issues with connecting to my Samsung S24 Ultra. The battery life is pretty incredible. I used it for several hours for 3 or 4 days on a single charge. There are a few cons. Something that didn't impress me was the speakers. They were not very loud at all. This isn't going to be powerful enough for gaming, the graphics are integrated and the RAM cannot be upgraded either. It has a few limits, but overall this is a great laptop with excellent battery life that can easily fit into the Samsung family of devices. I highly recommend for anyone that doesn't require a gaming system.

The Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro Copilot+ PC (14" 3K AMOLED Touch Screen Laptop – Intel Core Ultra 7 – 16GB Memory – 512GB SSD – Gray) has been a surprisingly impressive piece of technology to get to know. With the overwhelming number of laptops available today, this one stands out. As a former Mac daily user, I really appreciate what the new Galaxy Book6 Pro brings to the table. It never seems to get too hot, offers great battery life, and the touchscreen is both responsive and easy to use—though also easy to forget about if you’re not used to having one. I really like the form factor: it’s minimalist, extremely lightweight, and fits anywhere I would normally keep my tablet. The screen is excellent, with vibrant colors, and the keyboard feels comfortable and well laid out. I do wonder if the laptop could be made even thinner by omitting the HDMI port on the side. Using Xbox’s Play Anywhere feature, I can enjoy games while traveling for short trips, which adds nice versatility. The best thing about this device is that it truly feels like a laptop—powerful enough for productivity without needing to rely on a desktop computer. It’s also a superb option for middle school and high school students.
