I really like this External SSD because it has a high storage space of 2TB and it was really affordable at just under $100 for the Refurbished version. I have not had any problems with it and it is just like new. The SSD is basically the same size as a credit card an extremely portable. I ran a CrystalDiskMark test a got a read speed of 980MB/s an a write speed of 990MB/s. One downside of this SSD is that it gets fairly hot when downloading big games onto it. I highly recommend this if you are a gamer or a student looking to expand your storage.

I recently purchased the Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Samsung T7 2TB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSD, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance and quality. Right out of the box, the metallic red finish immediately stood out—it’s sleek, stylish, and feels solid in hand. Performance-wise, this SSD is impressive. The data transfer speeds are lightning-fast, making it ideal for moving large files quickly. I’ve used it extensively for backing up my work files and multimedia projects, and it handles everything with ease. The USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface ensures that I’m getting optimal speed without any lag. One of the standout features is the hardware encryption. I appreciate the extra layer of security it provides, especially since I’m storing sensitive information. Setting it up was straightforward, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my data is protected. I use this SSD in my Tesla, and it has been through some extreme conditions—from scorching hot days to freezing cold ones. Despite the temperature fluctuations, the T7 has performed flawlessly, proving its durability and reliability. Although this is a refurbished product, you wouldn’t know it by looking at or using it. It functions as if it were brand new, and I haven’t encountered any issues. Geek Squad did an excellent job ensuring the quality and reliability of this device. Overall, if you’re in the market for a portable SSD that’s fast, secure, and can withstand various conditions, I highly recommend the Samsung T7. It’s a fantastic value, especially considering it’s certified refurbished, and it has quickly become an essential part of my tech setup.

Refurbished SSD operates like New, This SSD may require it to be initialized before use. This can be done with Windows 10 or 11.

Small enough to tuck in a shirt pocket, big enough on the inside for your entire Steam library and then some. My games haven't run smoother, despite being an external drive. Also, it's taken a few drops with no isdues. Highly recommended.

Haven't had it long enough to give a complete review but for a refurbished purchase the drive worked perfectly. Very portable and should come in handy for storing my drone footage on the fly as well as backing up my computer.
