I bought this for my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. Im not a fan of air vent or windshield mounts. Not sure if it was a good idea to trim the base, but I still feel it really sturdy. I cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and let the adhesive tape bond for 2 days. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, so its not too large and heavy of a phone. This is great for GPS Navigation and its not too distracting.

Easy to install and I really like the magnet for it.

not right for my vehicle wont stick to dash board!

Had this product about 3 weeks and the screw part broke. It never would stay tight and I had to go tighten it almost every time I got in the car. Eventually the screw part just split on both sides. Decent little rig, but very cheaply made.

This product works really well. It's easy to get my phone on and I haven't had any issues with my phone falling off. I have one of these in each of my cars but my dash is slightly textured in one vehicle and this did have some issues sticking to that. As long as it makes a good bond with your dash, you don't have to worry about your phone falling off of the mount. I also like the metal plate it comes with. I use the larger one mounted to the inside of my case so I don't leave residue on my phone. Even through the case, it stays attached and I haven't had any issues with the plate moving even after I switched phones and reattached it to my new case. Lastly, I have it set pretty low on my phone so I can still use wireless charging and I haven't had any issue with it.

I bought this to hold my phone in a position in my F150 I could use for navigation. I was leary at first whether it would hold the phone. I didn't want the usually clip thing, but I'm finding it holds the phone well. All I have to do is put it place and pull it loose. It also mounts to the dash well.

The magnet is strong but the adhesive sticker could be stronger i had to use super glue

Works very well for easily removing and placing phone. The magnet hold just enough to where it isn’t a pain to grab!

Nice and compact phone holder. Has a strong magnet and isnt bulky like some others that I've tried.

This was the second phone mount I purchased for my new car. The first one, a different brand, was useless. The phone slid off the mount with every bounce and turn. This one, the Schosche, really is magic! Well designed, small and discreet, with a very powerful magnet. I’m very pleased. And it looks great in my little Fiat

Doesnt seem to stay in place. Always shifts when aigrab my phone. Have to re tighten the screw in the back but always moves. The megnetic aspect of it is phenomenal.

I bought this because all the pnes with clips and window suction cups never worked. They were always at best working for a few days and then needed remounting or at worst not working at all. This is a small yet very effective mount option. You use adhesive to attach the mount to your car dash, wherever you refer it. Then use the adhesive magnet and attach it to the backof your phone(preferably outside of any case you may have, but you can put inside the case if you dont want it visible.) And then ut just works. This is the easiest and most reliable mount I've ever had

Holds my phone very snug in the device and attached to my Mercedes dash without an issue. Easy attachment and release.

Good product no problems currently the sticking application is strong enough to hold iPhone but unsure it will keep the same stickiness in longer term just a regular desk mount to quickly apply and start using.

Location needs to be prep carefully for it to attach strongly. Use 3m Adhesion Promoter. But so far great product. Use it to attach my tablet.

It works perfectly. I had bought another one and it was really bad. This brand is the best and what I like is that it could be placed anywhere I like in the car.

This device makes it easy for me to mount and then remove my phone easily.
