To reiterate, I am not dissapointed in this product, I have over a thousand games purchased and this helps offload any games — you can later transfer these games back into internal storage and play them, this ONLY applies to Series x/s games. There are some games that allow you to play off the external drive, its all dependent on the game, bigger wel known titles will most likely need internal storage or an expansion card. It’s an awesome product! I would’ve loved it even more if all games were compatible off of the external drive, but it beats deleting games and reinstalling all of the time. I also love how they put the time in to make sure that the color matched the original console, something I was worried about before purchasing.

reasonably priced for 8tb of game storage. its also relatively quite for being an external hdd.

The best external memory buddy for the Xbox series X gives you the ease of having games ready to play at the touch of your button

I save a lot of pictures and videos. This external hard drive is exactly what I needed! It's easy to use; nothing to install. And there are several different plug options so it can be used in a variety of places.

Does exactly what it says it does. I got it for my X Box One X series easy set-up. All games downloaded to the hard drive do have to be transferred to the console before they can be played, besides that no complaints.

It does what it supposed to, i do recommend it but the only thing is that it came slightly damaged when it arrived. The porta in the front and the back were shifted. I managed to connect the backs and the front only the usb can be connected with the shift.

Works Great can now save all games in one location that not using now without having to delete. And transfer back to Internal or Expansion drive Quick when need to play them. Only them that would be better if Microsoft would make and 8tb or larger expansion card at a lower price like external drive

These aren't compatible with series s/x games but are a must have if you like to play previous gen games on the series s/x. I hate re-downloading games so this hard drive has saved me the hassle. It's great being able to unplug it and use it on either my s or x and not have to worry about downloading anything. The next best thing is being able to copy games from one system to the hard drive and then to another system without using any data (even works with series s/x games they just play from this external hard drive) makes it easy when me and my wife want to play a game! I'll download it on my console with the fastest speed copy the game to the hard drive (faster than downloading) plug the external into the series s and move the game from the external to the series s takes about 5 minutes to port 75 gig games this way instead of 15 minutes each system or longer!

10 years ago, I thought a 5 TB hard drive would last me a lifetime... so much for that. I was surprised at how cheap Best Buy was selling this at the time so I had to snag it. I have always used Seagate drives, and they have always performed well. The 5 TB hard drive I mentioned lasted me 11 years! I like that Seagate kept the aesthetic of Xbox when designing this 8 TB model. It runs gently so when you are in between games or at a loading screen, you might briefly hear the fan, but it's quiet enough. Storage space goes without saying, it's humongous. Hopefully I won't need to upgrade after this! Buy it. It's a good deal and Seagate makes great drives.

The case design and RGB goes well with the Series X, but wouldn’t look out of place in use with a PC, laptop, etc. The read/write speeds are as advertised. More than enough storage for any/all Xbox One, 360, or Original games you want downloaded.

The harddrive comes with usb ports. That's perfect for a controller. There is tons of room and the series X moves games quickly. Light stays on even when console is off.

8TB is a bit overkill but now i never have to worry about running low on storage. Setting it up via lots of connectors was a bit annoying but once you figure out what you need to plug in, its a breeze from there. Very much worth it

I love it. I bought several smaller hard drives before getting 2 of these seagate game drive hubs. Anyone with over 100 games should get one. Plenty of storage. I have over 200 games on mine and they are about half full. I especially love the fact that it's a hub also. I can plug in my ssd and not use another port on my xbox series x/s. The transfer speeds are faster than I thought it would be. Not ssd fast, but faster than I thought. My only complaint about it is the green light. While it looks great, you can't turn it off. Other than that, it fixes all my xbox storage needs

This is the second one i bought for my buddy for Christmas, after having used one myself for over a year. Hands down the best bang for your buck. Not only is it a huge expansion hardrive. But also a gaming hub that you can play games right off instead of switching them back in forth. If you're looking for something and this is in your price range, i highly recommend it!!

Lots of space. I just wish it could play XS games as they are the larger ones.

Performs well, setup was easy and the green Xbox light is supercool. You do hear the hard drive working and the light turns on and off with your console depending on your settings, you do have to plug it in, but for 8Tb of space you can’t go wrong. I even still have my old hard drive still connected to my series X I will not be running out of memory anytime soon!

Really saves time with a large game collection and has faster speeds than usb powered game drives
