Screw Barbenheimer, Bananza Labyrinth is IT

Metroidvanias make up a lot of some of the best games I've ever played, and one with an edgy Pac-Man companion is something I never knew I needed. My pre-order bonus was completely botched, but that can be chalked up to the retailer. Besides, it's just a $2 DLC, and considering this is a AAA game at only $30, it's more than a win.

Highly recommended for Pac-Man metroidvania fans.

I’m loving the Pac-Man a la metroidvania style. Reminds me a lot of super Metroid on the snes.

    New metrovainia

Decent game and better because its physical cart similar to hollow knight or megaman zero but alot easier on difficulty

    Above average

A good but not great Metroidvania with a lot of interesting ideas that weren't well executed. The Pac-Man mechanics were a nice change of pace from other Metroidvanias and were pretty fun and challenging at the start but started to feel like they were designed around hardcore Pac-Man players during the late game. Movement and combat were both slow and clunky but that didn't stop the boss battles from being the highlight of the game. With one exception, almost all of them felt very tough but fair and made good use of each new mechanic and attack type. I had a few other complaints about the game but most of them were eventually fixed by updates. Overall, I'd say this is worth it for any fans of difficult Metroidvanias.
