I am coming directly from a $35 common hair dryer that was solid. When my kid broke it, I was super bummed, but I knew it was an opportunity. And soon, I overwhelmed by all the options available. I decided I invest a lot of time and money into my hair so I would not be running out and buying another store shelf dryer. I also could not justify the $450 Dyson although I would LOVE to have one. In my research, I stumbled upon the Shark HyperAIR. It's fairly new so finding reviews that weren't sponsored was a little difficult. I ordered online and picked it up the next morning. I showered. I waited 5 minutes. Then I started my stop watch. I have medium-long hair but it's not super thick, and I was 80% dry in 2 minutes. I spent the next 4 using the styling brush attachment. At 6min and 30sec, I was completely dried AND styled for the day which is very impressive. I didn't have to use a straightner to get that sleek look. This little dryer packs a strong punch. My hair looks and feels healthy and fabulous. Products used are hair oil and leave in conditioner. The negatives: It's roughly the same weight as my old hair dryer so it wins no points for being light weight. The other issue is how HOT the barrel gets, especially when attachments are on. I will have to use the cool shot VERY often to keep this tool in check. You can change the heat and fan settings but even on low heat, it's HOT. The heat and fan will automatically adjust for the attachment but you can also change it. The cool shot will be vital to continued use. I am not sure how the box can clearly boast "No Heat Damage!" when the air is that hot. All that in mind, I would do 5 stars because of the time saved and ease of use. It's a great tool and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on the Shark HyperAIR

I LOVE this thing. I’ve had it for a couple of months now. I’ve tried so many blow dryers in the past. I have 4a/4b type hair and it’s thick. I love the brush attachment. It gets my hair really straight with minimal heat. It’s not very loud and doesn’t make the room all hot. I love that you can adjust the direction of the attachment to make it more comfortable for however I am holding the dryer at what ever part of my head. The price is high but we’ll worth it. The packaging was done really well. It came with a little brush to clean the dust out and a manual to better understand the device and how to use it and the attachments based on hair type.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, looks like I might be using it more because it dries my hair so fast and does not damage it with the cooling feature!

It dries my hair in about 8-10 minutes. I can do a blowout in a total of 20 mins, and it looks soooo good! This item is worth every penny, and IMO, I think it works better than Dyson :) I will note that it’s loud so if that bothers you, you won’t like it at all.
