About this product
Shooting Star is one of those '80s rock bands that never got the exposure and airplay they deserved (in my opinion.) This compilation has their biggest hits from the '80s and includes a few tracks from the '90s and beyond. InchLast ChanceInch (the nearly seven minute hit from their eponymous debut) and InchHang On For Your LifeInch, InchAre You on My SideInch, InchFlesh and BloodInch, InchBreakoutInch, and InchHollywoodInch (all from InchHang On For Your LifeInch) were just some of the popular hits in my neck of the woods. Like InchKansasInch (the band) they were not afraid to mix strings with electric guitars, drums, keyboards, and vocals to produce catchy songs. This two CD set is well worth the price. Please note that the Renaissance Records of InchAnthologyInch differs from other releases of the anthology, most notably the inclusion of InchFlesh and BloodInch which other reviewers have stated is missing. Album Tracks 1. Tonight 2. Last Chance 3. You Got What I Need 4. Bring It on 5. Flesh and Blood 6. Hang on for Your Life 7. Hollywood 8. Breakout 9. Weary Eyes 10. Heartache 11. Are You on My Side 12. Where You Gonna Run 13. Straight Ahead 14. Taken Enough 15. Train Rolls on 16. Burning 17. Summer Sun 18. Heat of the Night 19. Touch Me Tonight 20. Rainfall

The new album of singer Markéta Foukalová and pianist Martin Brunner (Svou chvíli - InchA While of One's OwnInch) features a live recording of a performance that took place on 10 February 2022 in the DOX+ in Prague. The project, entitled InchJazz PoetryInch, included a world premiere of Brunner's cycle based on poems by Vera Koubová, commissioned by the Prague Symphony Orchestra that also accompanied the performance under the baton of Marko Ivanovic. Alongside the two protagonists, the performance featured Vít Krištan on Fender Rhodes. The present recording is the second live recording of a performance within the concert cycle New Horizons, which combines jazz and symphonic music, released from Animal Music in collaboration with the Czech Radio. If A While of One's Own is Brunner's first composition for a large symphonic orchestra, he has been composing music for classical chamber ensembles (Duo Teres, Trio Clavio) and recorded an album featuring jazz trio and the Epoque Quartet (Morning Walks, 2013). Alongside these activities, he has been dedicating himself to his own jazz-rock formation, Martin Brunner Band (Levels of Life, 2019), and has been one of the core authors associated with the jazz big band, Concept Art Orchestra. Album Tracks 1. Rozsypàno 2. Zmizel 3. Závrat 4. Od Prahu K Prahu 5. Svou Chvíle 6. Svetlo Za Mrízemi 7. Ze Zázemí 8. Nadchází Den

Remastered from analogue tape and original vinyl for the best possible sound quality.CELEBRATE THE DECADE THAT DEFINED THE SOUND OF MOD WITH AN EXCLUSIVE ALL-STAR LINE UP The MOD lifestyle enjoyed it's heyday in Britain in the early 1960s when short haircuts, button-down collars, motor scooters, pep pills and good music all combined to keep the aspiring followers of fashion one step ahead of the crowd. And the good music that the MODs danced to - featured here - was an infectious cocktail of American Rhythm & Blues, Jamaican Ska and the very best that the British combos had to offer. The original Mod cult f-f-faded away as quickly as it arrived, but it would reinvent itself in the late Seventies as Mod Revival and Two Tone and today it is as relevant as ever before...
