For photos on the Sony A7V it delivers amazing quality in all lighting conditions and for this price point, it's a good option for a casual photographer. It looks great for videos as well but my only concern is the autofocus being a little off and inconsistent sometimes- even with select AI focused turned on. Could be due to having a black mist filter. Would need more testing without the filter. Another small issue that might be with Sigma in general is the filter thread, It's tight and using step-up ring gets stuck on it. Overall, a great purchase if you're on a budget and need a 70-200.

Much cheaper than the Sony 70-200 and almost the same quality
