Bought this when I knew we were going to get snow in NJ. I had a gas-powered Toro thrower for years, and it was always in need of cleaning, and it was never a guarantee that it would start. This year, it just wouldn't, so I decided to invest in a battery-powered unit. Ordered on Wednesday, and received it on Friday, set it up (took <10 minutes) and charged the batteries overnight. (After reading the reviews about the battery life, I invested in two more 6.0Ah batts that I could swap out on the fly) Woke up to find about 5" of snow on the ground and at 6:45am, went out to give the SnowJoe a try. First off, the unit started right up, which was a breath of fresh air. Also, it's VERY quiet. Since I started doing this <7am, I wanted to make sure I wasn't waking the neighbors on a Saturday morning. Most importantly, it was EXACTLY what I had hoped for. It cleaered the snow without a problem. Most of the snow was light and fluffy, so the unit did the job easily. There were a couple of times that the ejection tube got clogged with wetter snow, but the little shovel attached to the unit was right there to clean it out. The 4.0Ah batts did last about 30 minutes (about 80% of my total work done), so I swapped them with the other set and finished it off. I love this machine...it's light, it's quiet, it's powerful, and the batts last how long you'd expect. Note that I didn't fully use the 6.0Ah batts, so I don't know their lifespan. Very much recommend this product!

Decent snow blower for smaller driveways. It's not very good for heavier snow, but it does throw it a little. Battery life is decent, about 30 minutes of straight use. The blades don't get fully down to the pavement, especially with wettier snow. Overall it does a decent job if you get it at the right price.

I read reviews before buying this. I already own the snowjoe shovel. It work’s fantastic! Throws snow 15 feet, literally. This one takes the same batteries, works just as good. They’re for the lighter snow but let’s face it, who likes to shovel? I have a huge gas powered snowblower for the big stuff, this is perfect for quick clean ups.

My friend has the snow Joe shovel and he brought it iver the other day and used it on my sidewalk. So I asked hi where he got it and he said Best Buy. I went on the best buy site immediately and started looking around. I have a big patio behind the house where I park my truck and its easier to get in the house. I bought the bigger push version instead if the shovel version. It came today while we were getting a snow storm. So I opened it up put the batteries on charge and continued to put it together. It was so easy to put together and within the hour after the batteries were charged I was outside using it. I love it! Best snow blower I have ever purchased. No gas, No ext cord. Plug the batteries in and go.

Pleasantly surprised at how well this Snow Blower worked. First time - had 8 inches of wet snow and it went right through it. Very Light and easy to maneuver. Did my driveway and walk in 1 charge.

Awesome. Surprisingly good battery life. Works well enough to clean up the entire sidewalk along our house, as well as a two car width, one car length drive way, with 2/3 battery left. Throw in our 300sqft patio behind the house and youre down another 1/3 battery. It does not slow down as the battery loses juice, at least not noticeably. Ill also say the snow blower doesnt do an excellent job unless theres 3in of snow or more. Im 6'5" and have back problems, so this has surely been a life saver. Is this the greatest snow-blower on the planet? Absolutely not. Does it kick the crap out of a shovel? 100%. Is it worth $400? Maybe, depends on how much your back is worth, but it goes on sale for $300 quite often, and i got it for $260 a little while ago. The way i figured was this, instead of breaking my back with a shovel every time it snows, i looked into hiring a guy to do it for me. He was going to charge $30 to come out each time it snowed. Where i live in idaho, it for sure is going to snow more than 10 times during the winter, ive already used this 6 or so times.

Only will work good on light fluffy snow. Heavy wet snow is not for this machine.

I bought it for my parents for Christmas and for starters, assembly must have been easy because they put most of it together before I could get to the house and do it like I had planned. And it's a serious time and back saver. Definitely does the job.

Its a good little snow blower. Smaller than i expected but it does ok. If you dont have alot of snow its great.

Very light and easy to handle. Great for light snows up to 5-6 inches.

The two battery makes it a fairly powerful machine. If you get lots of snow, you’ll want the next model up. Perfect for the mid atlantic amounts if snow.

This is a great snowblower. I have just a small driveway and sidewalk and it did the job. I will buy an extra set of batteries for next year, this was a last minute buy after all the snow this winter. May check out their battery lawnmower next!

Did long driveway and sidewalk with a couple inches of snow on 1 charge. 2nd time was over 8 inches. It went through it but the batteries died before done. Will probably buy another set of batteries. Happy so far!

The design amd sturdiness are good. I haven't had the chance to use it yet so unable to say how it work.

Decent lightweight electric snow blower. Clear ~ 3 inches of 500 sq ft medium wet snow in about an hour with the 2 batteries provided consistently. Low to zero maintenance.

It works for small areas but dies very quickly. It's too small to do a huge snow storm but works for a couple inches. The battery life isn't the best

Would be great if we had snow. So we haven’t taken it out of the box. I’d buy a new one every year if it meant no snow.

It’s set up was great however have not had the chance to use The snow melted and has not snowed since I purchased it!!
