Contains less than 5% calcium chloride

This calcium chloride blend contains less that 5% calcium chloride so youre basically just buying rock salt. Wish i realized that before purchasing this item. Would not recommend if youre looking for something that is easier on concrete. Also, both bags arrived with holes in them so who knows how much salt was lost in transit.

The purchase process and delivery of all 5 bags of the ice melting crystals went off without a hitch. The product itself was not so good. Maybe I was expecting too much from this particular product, but I saw very little evidence that it was having any effect on the ice and snow on the walls and driveway after shoveling. I would hesitate to buy this product again.

I finally received this in mail almost a month after ordering online, the box was damaged and the product bag was busted open. I returned the item to the store for a full refund. Horrible and disappointed experience! Maybe this is not the type of item to order online for delivery.
