Works great and safe for my dogs feet. I put it out even before snow, and it helps keep me from having to shovel, with light snow. Otherwise I put it down after snow removal to keep it from freezing.

Actually bought an ice melt form best buy. They had the best price for a pet "safer" product and the delivery was free. Overall the product worked for its intended purpose. No complaints
