We have had a SodaStream for a couple of years and bought this one as a Christmas gift. The recipients are just as thrilled with theirs as we are with ours. Love being able to have whatever flavor of soda we want, and being able to adjust the carbonation level to what we enjoy! Like the flavor of the soda but it's just a bit too strong? Customize the flavor by using less syrup. I can't say enough good things about this product.

This is definitely the way to go if you like soda but don't want to keep buying cans of it. So far the flavors we have tried are equal to the canned stuff but without all the sugar. Each glass (8oz) only has 35 calories! We probably won't buy any more canned soda. This machine is so easy to use. Since it does not need to be plugged into electricity to use it you could take it with you if you traveled or even went to a party. I don't know why we waited so long to get one.

If you like alot of fizz, this is perfect. I'm a big club soda fan and this meets my needs. The fizz are small so they burn going down but it makes you burp pretty quick. It's a different fizz compared to the name brand club soda. The syrup I probably would not recommend. I bought the cola and the lemon lime. It tasted like cough syrup,artificial, diet-ish. Only issue if you follow the instructions during carbinating it sprays water. Shorter burst seems work the best and watching the water as it starts to bubble up to the top tells you when to let go, give it a sec for it to come down and push again.

First I must say that the whole family loves this unit. It's great for making your own soda right at home. The huge adjustment we had to get used to was the reduced sugar in the soda. the soda syrup has only 8g's of sugar per 8oz...vs...a regular can of coke or pepsi has has 24g to 28g for 8oz (36g to 39g per 12oz can). That is a BIG taste difference to adjust to when and if you are used to drinking the canned soda. Other than that the L's they state you can get out of the CO2 bottle on the box is misrepresented - grossly mislabeled and/or not explained well in the instructions. It states you will get 60L out of the CO2 bottle. Ok, yes one might if they only fizz it to the first light (low fizz). We did a variation from the second light to the third (which is high fizz like a can of soda) and only got about 25-28L's and now need a new one. And finally, we do think it's a great buy if you would like to cut back on the amount of sugar one consumes if drinking cans of soda. And it's kinda nice not having to lug those 12pks into the house anymore.

Easy, tastes better, creates less garbage and it's a little cheaper. All good news.
