No numbers pad on the remote control

Clarity on the television is pretty good however one of the things that I don’t like about the remote control for the television is that it does not have a number keypad for the channels. I know most people they stream a lot, but however, for those who are tangible would want a number keypad, especially with the recent outage with Verizon if you wanted to connect with the local local news channels, you have a alternative way of accessing those local channels easily

Recommended Sony Bravia 2

Was told the tv was a qled Sony Bravia. After unpacking once arriving home discovered tv was just led model. Went ahead and hooked the unit up to see what kind of pictured it produced . I was replacing an lg hd unit with the Sony 75 inch. Picture was noticeably cleaner and brighter than the lg so went ahead and just kept the Sony. I would have liked to compare the Sony to the lg qled I went to buy . Was told the lg qled was a Black Friday deal and wouldn’t be available until Friday. So sales recommended the Sony stating it was a comparable qled model.

Bad experience altogether. Came in to buy a mini QLED TV and I had to talk to one of the sales salesman. I let the salesman know what I was buying and he told me to get the Sony and lied saying that it has the same quality if not better than a mini QLED. The anticipation I had for the pitch blacks along with the wait time was building up. When I finally saw the product, the screen blacks were terrible. The only good thing I will drag out about this is the color quality aside from that it was no different than a TV I bought from 2012.

The picture is fantastic. Bright and vibrant colors! The speakers/sound could be much better - which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I'll add a surround system at some point to make up for the factory speakers. I watch several different sporting events and they all look great! Worth the purchase, just make sure you add in a sound bar.

Sun Setting on the Old Bravia

"Needed a TV," cause my Bravia 65in 10 years old, was showing its age! I bought this 75 inch to replace it a few days before the final, "Pop I'm done Buddy! New Bravia TV Picture is good and looks cleaner, but the connection outlets especially the Optical seems to be a,bit flimsy! I had to get a lighter Optical cable for a more secure connection! I'll add to this review in 6 months if the performance is not up to par! "Oh Yeah, doing yourself with all the props you have to go through to set it up. It's like doing an Exam but with reminders if you missed something! "All's good so far glad to say"!

We also sincerely appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the flimsy feel of the connection outlets, particularly the Optical port. We regret that you needed to find a lighter optical cable to achieve a secure connection. We will certainly relay this structural feedback to our product quality team, as we strive for robust connectivity across all our devices.
Regarding the setup process, we understand that going through all the configuration steps can feel extensive, like "doing an Exam." So far, so good. I bought this a couple of months ago to replace a Samsung TV that only lasted a year. The picture quality is excellent, and it has a solid number of HDMI connections. Setting it up with HDMI ARC was effortless—it detected my streaming box, soundbar, and Blu-ray player without any issues. I won't rank the sound quality since I do run audio through a soundbar.

Beginning set up limits my freedom.

I am very happy and excited with my new purchase, however, I haven’t even started yet. When I began initial set up I realized I cannot finish it without having a google account. I am a person in my 40’s. Somehow I survived until now without a good account. Actually, the fact that I don’t have a google account is motivated with my decision that I did not want to have an account with google. Now, after buying this Sony TV, I need to creat an account with google. This TV has interior antenna, but it’s good for nothing if you don’t log in to google account. I have a Wi-Fi in my home, but guess what? I can’t connect to it without a google account. So, to anyone who allowed this to happen: Please, DO NOT FORCE ME TO BE HAPPY! This cooperation sounds like it is a monopoly. You force customers to use one company. Again, I decided to buy a Sony product, not Google product.

We absolutely understand and respect your decision to maintain privacy and avoid creating a Google account, and we regret that our product design has placed this barrier in front of you. While Sony chooses the Google TV platform to deliver a highly robust smart TV experience (with access to thousands of apps, voice features, and personalized recommendations), we recognize that this integration should not come at the expense of a customer's privacy preferences or their ability to use core TV functions.
To address your immediate need, we want to provide you with the steps to finish the setup without signing in to a Google account:
When you reach the Google login screen during the initial setup, look for an option that says "Set up basic TV", or "Set up without Google account". This option allows you to proceed.
If the TV is currently connected to the internet, you may need to temporarily disconnect your TV from the internet (unplugging the Ethernet cable or disconnecting your Wi-Fi router) before starting the setup.
Once you complete the basic setup, you should be able to:
Connect the TV to your Wi-Fi network.
Use the interior antenna to watch broadcast channels.
Use your HDMI inputs for external devices (Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, cable boxes).
While you will miss out on certain smart features without an account (like personalized recommendations and app downloads), the core TV functionality will be available.
Your point about feeling forced into a monopoly is well taken and is valuable feedback that we will certainly relay to our product development teams.

I went into Best Buy looking at another brand for a TV purchase, but after discussing everything with the sales associate I decided on the 75" Bravia 2 and can't be more happy! It has a great picture and is easy to use right out of the box. The value you get this with this TV is amazing!

Sony 77 inch Bravia TV set

I had to return the same TV set as the wireless card was not working and the TV could not connect to the internet for streaming sevices. The geek squad team replaced the TV with another set. Since then no issue with the TV. Great qulaity pic and bestbuy service team.

Great tv, picture is great and built in apps are nice. The only negative is Xfinity…again screwing consumers by not making the streaming app available directly on Sony’s apps.
