Compact cylindrical design
A newly designed compact autofocus and aperture drive system fits snugly into the sleek compact cylindrical adaptor which perfectly matches the diameter of the A-mount lens. The compact cylindrical design also makes the adaptor ideal to use with a vertical grip.
Easy operation with a vertical grip
Thanks to the cylindrical design with the same diameter as A-mount lenses, the LA-EA5 provides the same room for fingers when using a vertical grip on a full-frame E-mount camera body as a native E-mount lens would provide.
Durable design
The LA-EA5 features a robust six screw flange as found on newer E-mount cameras providing ridged and secure connection between camera and lens. This is especially appreciated when using larger and heavier lenses.

I have an older model a 7 ii with lenses that don’t fit this new model. Will this adapter work?

However, there are restrictions of the functions and it varies depending on the lens variation. Will this work ON a Sony a7ii in order to use the lenses from my Canon t2i Rebel?
