The Sony CRE-E10 hearing aids, work really well! User adjustable controls with your smartphone, rechargeable, 4 different sized ear sleeves for a perfect fit, Bluetooth connection with IPhones for music, phone calls and apps. With many people wearing earbuds these days, they don’t scream hearing aids even though they are visible from the side. Very good phone support from Sony (during normal business hours) I did need to call once for some help fine tuning in crowded areas. It took me a few weeks to get them perfectly dialed in finding the right size ear sleeves, learning the control settings/combinations that work the best for me and getting use to having earbud in. Now in less than a month of use I forget I even have them in. My wife loves them too, the TV volume is at 6 now, compared to 10-11 before, same with the car radio. I’m not asking “What” or guessing what people are saying to me. They work and I recommend them with confidence.

Now that I have owned and worn the Sony E10 hearing aids for awhile, I feel I can comment. 5 stars to ALL Best Buy personal for knowing their products and sell the best the market has available! I had a hearing test from a professional licensed audiologist and discovered that I am moderately hard of hearing, so I tried several devices which just amplified sound which didn’t, I researched and discovered the brand and style and App features I considered the best of all offered on and off line. I was in Best Buy using my Total benefits with the Geeks and asked if they sold hearing aids. Surprised by a “yes!” And I was immediately shown the very ones I wanted. The price out of pocket for these FDA approved real hearing aid was lower than I would have to pay if I went through my insurance too. I have proudly shown them, demonstrated them and highly recommended Best Buy, the Total program and these products to anyone this need. Actually, I now check with Best Buy first!

I've tried the Bose and MDHearing hearing aids/amplifier and those two had lots of feedback since its over the ear style does that often and the sound qualityis amazing with its auto range of sound. I would recommend Sony's pair due to almost no feedback, style, and app controller. The only con I have is the android functionality with calls needs to come soon since its been awhile since the iPhone users can enjoy this already. I have used these buds through light rain and workouts and they don't disappoint. I hope to see more from these line of hearing devices.

Sony's CRE-E10 I have to say it has impressed me. They are nicely built in a minimal design and very discrete. Whoever sees you wearing them will not think they are hearing aids, as they look just like regular earbuds. That's what I like the most. The actual devices are tiny, like they are almost concealed within your ears. Setting them up should be easy if you get them to pair right away. I had little issues paring them to my Pixel 7 pro. You have to download the Sony hearing control app, then follow the directions. Once you get them to pair the app will run a setup and tuning of the hearing aids. What I really like is the actual tuning, it is dedicated to the actual user consisting of several tones frequencies at different volume levels. It is similar to the hearing exam done at the doctors office. Something that I really disliked was that you have to consent to give Sony access to your hearing data for you to be able to use the app. Not only that, it can be shared as your medical record. If you don't consent to it pretty much you won't be able to use the devices with the app. Once you overcome that hurtle and are done with the initial setup and tuning you will be able to access the device settings. The hearing aids are very light and they fit nice and snug in the ear. They also feel comfortable just like regular earbuds. It comes with the small sleeve already installed. If those sleeves do not fit you well, it comes with three extra ones in the box XS/M and Large. I used the one that came with it as it fit well for me. To turn on the devices all you have to do is pull them out of the charging case and to turn off, just place them back. They sound really good and one of the best part is how some of the natural sounds blend in to make these hearing aids sound more natural. It does feel kind of clogged because you have to plug them in the ear of course and it has some type of noise canceling. Like other hearing aids I tried you can definitely hear your own voice when talking and that is something that I don't like. Besides that they are just great. I can actually hear those high frequencies that I can’t hear without jeopardizing the other sounds. I was able to watch TV with the volume at level 3. With the app you can adjust the volume, treble/bass and the directions you want to hear. During the setup you can adjust the loudness individually. The directional hearing is actually pretty amazing. If you focus on the front that's exactly where it will focus and you will notice the difference. I do prefer the auto function because the hearing feels more natural and balanced. Each hearing aid lasts about 26 hrs of continuous use according to the manufacturer and 21 if you use it with music streaming. Yes, these hearing aids support music streaming and phone calls via bluetooth. The downside is that it is only supported by the iPhone. Hopefully that gets fixed with a software update to support other operating systems than iOS. Now a little bit about that charging case. It is very small, which is great. You won’t feel a huge bulge in your pocket. It is Not only small, it also has an internal battery to charge your hearing aids on the go. It charges via USB-C and the cable is included. It supports wireless charging. If you own a phone that supports reverse wireless charging you will not have any problem charging your hearing aids. Manufacturer suggests the case holds two full charges. I don't know exactly how much that is in hours but I assume it is a lot. Overall these are by far one of the best hearing aids I have tried. Is the closest you can get to prescription hearing aids over the counter in my opinion. They not only sound great but also come with plenty of features that will definitely warrant the high price. In the box you get the hearing aids, charging case, USB-C cable, extra sleeves, cleaning kit and user manuals.
