The RX100 VA delivers excellent image quality with ISO up to 12800 and fast performance, including features like UHD 4K video and super slow motion recording. It pairs a BIONZ X processor with a front end LSI for continuous shooting with AF and AE at up to 24 fps. The ZEISS Vario Sonnar T lens provides a 24 to 70mm equivalent zoom range with a bright f/1.8 to f/2.8 maximum aperture. Its optical design includes two aspherical elements to help reduce chromatic aberrations and maintain clear detail. Fast Hybrid AF combines speed and accuracy for stills and video, using 315 phase detection points covering up to 65 percent of the frame. For video, the camera records UHD 4K with strong clarity using Sony’s XAVC S format at up to 100 Mbps, plus helpful tools like timecode, zebra display, and focus peaking. A Photo Capture function lets you save 8.29MP still images from UHD 4K movies.
