Q: Will this speaker be loud enough to hear in a machine shop?
A: No. Unfortunately i do not believe the speaker would work well in a machine shop. This works great at hom or outside on the patio.
Q: Are these good for tv sound. If you have 2 do you need 2 hdmi ports?
A: These Sony speakers connect to whatever the device is you want to use them with via Bluetooth. They do not have HDMI ports. They do have a 3.5mm audio in port for connection via a cable. They also have a charging connection. Hope this helps.

A: I used two of them in a 3000 square foot barn/garage at opposite ends, had pretty good sound. But I wasn't using any power tools.
Q: Is the bass adjustable? Or pre-set?
A: The bass is pre-set. The only thing you can adjust is the volume of the speaker.
Q: Can you pair 2 of these speakers with bluetooth for multi room use?
A: Yes. Pair the two speakers first. Then connect both speaker to the computer, tablet or phone.
Q: How do you remove the strap
A: I had the same concern and was worried I might break something. The strap eyelet opening is very tight initially, but you should be able to pull and slip the strap over the button piece. Basically unbutton the strap twice to remove it.
