Q: If I sync multiple 33s using party, leave them plugged in and in Bluetooth standby mode, will I be able to connect to any speaker at any time via Bluetooth, and they will all play in sync? Or do I manually have to re-sync all the speakers each time?

A: Hi Mulberry, Thanks for your inquiry! Yes, the XB23 will auto connect to the first Bluetooth signal it sees. The unit must be on in order to do this. You can turn “Auto Standby” mode off and leave the unit plugged in while you are out. The Party Connect function is terminated when the speaker is turned off and needs to establish the Party Connect function again to play in sync. I hope this helps. Regards, Erin

Q: what receivers output music to this XB23 speaker?

A: Hi bill, thanks for your question. This unit mainly connects with devices that has Bluetooth profile A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) like smartphones or computers. If your priority is speaker that connects with a receiver, you may check our SSCS3, SSCS5, SSCS8, SSCSE, and SACS9 instead. Q: Is it possible to blow these speakers if played at max volume for to long.

A: No, I usually okay my speaker to the max and I haven’t had issues. I had this speaker for about 8 months.

A: Hi Qustioner, thank you for your question. When this unit operates at maximum volume (50), it will take about 3 hours before the built-in battery level become low, and the maximum output of the speaker decreases. The speaker's built-in battery is capable of charging itself even while music playback from the speaker is in progress. Depending on the type or specifications of the USB AC adaptor or the usage of the speaker, however, it may take a long time before charging completes. When you intend to use the speaker while charging the battery, turn down the speaker volume, or turn off the speaker and let the battery fully charge itself before using the speaker. Q: Can the voice prompt be disabled (Bluetooth connected)? It’s loud, obnoxious and unnecessary.

A: i Abcdbvc, Thanks for inquiring about the XB23. Unfortunately, there is no option to disable the voice prompt on the XB23. Using the Sony | Music Center app, you can activate/deactivate the voice guidance associated with the remaining battery power that you hear when you turn on the speaker. We recommend that before you establish a connection between the speaker and Bluetooth device, turn down the volume of the speaker and Bluetooth device to avoid any sudden loud sound and prompt output from the speaker.
