Q: If it's an unlocked phone, then why can't it be used with Verizon?
A: Generally speaking unlocked phones mean they're GSM unlocked and Universal unlocked phones are typically compatible with CDMA carriers like Sprint and Verizon. Keep in mind that you have no 3G fallback so if LTE coverage is lacking then this might not be the phone for you.
