Vinyl LP pressing. UK shoegaze pioneers Slowdive enter their second act and offer up a fourth studio opus, their first in 22 years. Self-titled with quiet confidence, Slowdive's stargazing alchemy is set to further entrance the faithful while beguiling a legion of fresh ears. Deftly swerving what co-vocalist/guitarist Rachel Goswell terms Incha trip down memory lane,Inch these eight new tracks are simultaneously expansive and the sonic pathfinders' most direct material to date. Birthed at the band's talismanic Oxfordshire haunt The Courtyard, their diamantine melodies were mixed to a suitably hypnotic sheen at Los Angeles' famed Sunset Sound facility by Chris Coady. InchIt's poppier than I thought it was going to be,Inch notes principal songwriter Neil Halstead, who was the primary architect of 1995's previous full-length transmission Pygmalion. This time out the group dynamic was all-important. InchWhen you're in a band and you do three records, there's a continuous flow and a development. For us, that flow re-started with us playing live again and that has continued into the record.Inch InchThere's a different energy about it,Inch adds drummer Simon Scott. InchIt took ages to get back together and write songs and for it to click in the studio, but this album doesn't feel like a bolt-on - it's got an energy that's as vibrant as Souvlaki and Just for a Day. It feels very relevant to now.Inch Album Tracks 1. Slomo 6 53 2. Star Roving 5 38 3. Don't Know Why 4 36 4. Sugar for the Pill 4 30 1. Everyone Knows 4 22 2. No Longer Making Time 5 48 3. Go Get It 6 09 4. Falling Ashes 8 00

Digitally remastered and expanded double vinyl LP pressing includes the original album along with 10 bonus tracks. Arise is considered Sepultura's finest hour among longtime fans. While the music on Arise was mostly in the same death/thrash style as their previous album, Beneath the Remains, it was clear that the Sepultura sound was acquiring an experimental edge. The album presented their first incursions with industrial music, hardcore punk and Latin percussion. Album Tracks 1. Arise (Remastered) 2. Dead Embryonic Cells (Remastered) 3.
