I wasn't pleased with the incomplete package that was vanilla Street Fighter 5. The long load times, omni-present online elements, and shortage of characters/modes with the initial release caused me to boycott it for a few years. It pains me to say this, because I've been a fan for so many years and the core gameplay of SF5 is quite balanced and fun. Four years later, and Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition is finally the game it always should have been (save for the loading screen ads). There's now over 40 characters, multiple modes (yes, including arcade), and plenty of costumes available from the past season passes. It's just a shame it took this long for a complete game. If you haven't pulled the trigger on SF5 yet, doing so now is totally justified in my opinion.

First of all I have to start with a caveat. I haven't played Street Fighter religiously for a very long time. I was burning down quarters and most competitors during the arcade boom in 1991. Street Fighter 2 was life and conquest for me and my friends during the fighting game boom. I can proudly boast that I was weapons grade deadly with Chun-Lee. My buddies would make me play with someone else after so many loses. Alas I have grown old and perhaps past my prime. Though sometimes in the quiet hours of the night I still hunger for the glory days. The memories of seeing my enemies driven before me sing aloud and beckon for my return to battle, and I have answered the call with my purchase of Street Fighter V Champion Edition. I am amazed, simply amazed at what is on offer. New Characters, new online ranking, new Supers and strategies. This old dog has much to learn. It's almost overwhelming there are so many options and characters in the roster. In the old days you could Main one or two character and still grow deadly with the remaining fighters. I feel like those days are lost to history. I can't imagine the dedication it would take to have a working game plan for all of the characters, It excites me to to think I have a new world to explore. The online aspects are impressive. You are made to feel apart of a global battlefield. You are matched with opponents as if personally challenged. The announcement of the ensuing fight jumps from the screen theatrically. It is just fun. And I'll end with that. IT IS FUN Don't worry about the meta game or complaints. Just jump right in. It's gonna take you a while to Git Gud enough for those things to matter. Buy this game with confidence, you won't regret it.

Picked this new version of Street Fighter V up as I didn't have the past few seasons of content and it's a great buy at this price. You get all of the fighters, stages, and hundreds of costumes for only $30 which is great. There are still a few cosmetic things that it doesn't include but you can always buy them on the Store if you really want them. This is the only version of Street Fighter V you should be buying at this point.

Its a very fun fighting game. It inlcudes a ton of content, there is one season pass not included, but its still a significant number of stages and fighters for the low price. And the fighting is fun

Finally got this for the price I’ve been wanting to, for years now! Took long but I say it was definitely worth the wait. Being how stubborn Capcom are at how they do business, their sale prices usually stay the same every sale. I got this for $20, as this was the lowest this game will go for. All because the sale price was always closer to $30 and I felt that was too much for basically what is downloadable content (DLC). On the disk itself also, so thats a deal at twenty bucks. The game is now complete!

Great game, one of the best games with updated group of character in the history. You get a lot of extra costume and stages to fighter on.

Street Fighter 5 takes everything from the 2016 version and adds a wealth of new content. Firstly, the game includes a cinematic story mode in addition to individual stories for each character in the game. Second, the graphics definitely add to the experience with online-play as engaging and competitive as one would expect. Last but not least, the game is only half the price of most newly released PS4 games. If you've been waiting on purchasing the game because of a lack of content when it released four years ago, now is the time to jump in.

This game is great! If you haven’t jumped on the Street Fighter train, this is a great place to start. 4 years of character adds, balance patches, features and story all bundled up in one neat and content filled package. It has a great mix of classic characters and newcomers as well. If you are a street fighter fan and have a PS4 you can’t go wrong with this game at this price. Definitely recommended.

Really great to have the whole roster and all the extra costumes wrapped into one package. Pretty decent online play and matchmaking system. Geared a bit more towards the casual gamer - but still has a few advanced mechanics for the hardcore SF fans.

Street fighter with a new twist. It is way different from the first couple of releases. At the same time it’s still one of the best fighting games out to this day.

I love this game .. great characters with signature moves .. I love the tournaments and the versus ( two player mode ). The graphics are phenomenal and the gameplay is addicting .. love it

The character models and graphics are meh, but the fighting is fun. SF4 was better than this, and SF6 seems to be even worse. With Tekken 8 coming out, would rather get that over this.

If you have held off purchasing SFV until an "Ultra" or similar compilation came out, this is the one to get. Fluid gameplay, great characters, and fantastic levels.

This is the best of the Street Fighter V games. It has all the characters and stages. It is a must get for Street Fighter V Fans. Great Graphic, Great Fighting.

I love Street Fighter! And Street Fighter V, though controversial at first due to its lack of game modes. Street Fighter V: Champion Edition adds way more features than the original game. Plus, you get so many DLC characters. I think you actually get ALL the DLC characters. And you also get most of the costumes. Actually nearly all of them, I think. For a fighting game, Street Fighter is always the best to me. Better than Tekken, better than Mortal Kombat. But that's all subjective, obviously. But you get a ton of stuff with this version of SFV.

If you love fighting games as much as me then definitely give this a try. This is the final version of the game I believe and comes with all characters and most of the outfits that you could earn with the fight money in the game. Although the game is fun, it can be technical at times which may frustrate a casual gamer, but like with any fighting game it takes a lot of practice and time, but definitely pays off when you're fighting against other players.

It's been years since i picked up a Street Fighter game, even though this is the parent to all fighting games. I'm very glad i did. This is a game bursting with characters with fantastic graphics/artwork and is just fun to play. I have enjoyed seeing characters i have never heard of before and have the ability to try. I think there are over 30 fighters and i remember when it used to max out at 12. Very fun and easy to pick up and play!

I absolutely love this game I have been a fan of Street Fighter for a long time when Street Fighter V first came Out I was disappointed with the lack of content that the game had and I’m glad that with this version you get access to the majority of the characters and costume packs so it saves me the trouble of having to shell out a bunch of money for DLC this is definitely a must have if you do not own the game

This is a better updated version to Street fighter V. New added characters and new content.
