I was looking for a well rounded sub that was super clean for music while being able to reach deep for that true home theater sound (and more importantly for movies, feel). SVS come very highly recommended in professional reviews and on the forums, so I decided to give them a shot. This sub did not disappoint. It is a beast both in size and performance. Being able to pull from over 4000 Watts of peak amplifier power allows peaks from things like kick drums to not get lost in boomy bass lines like it can with cheaper or lower power units. In the picture I’ve attached you can see that I was able to hit 111dB at around 22Hz and still over 100dB at 15Hz. One really fun and convenient feature about this sub is the app. It’s well though out and responsive. For folks with discerning ears you can adjust 3 independent PEQ’s to flatten your frequency response curve. And it just works. If you’ve got the space (make sure you measure first, it is definitely larger than your typical sub) and really enjoy a system with authoritative deep bass, get this subwoofer. You won’t regret it.

This is by far the best subwoofer I have ever owned. It is definitely worth the money to get a high end sub like this. The bass is clean and when it hits low you feel it to your core. This will be the last sub I ever own.

If you like bass then you will love this sub. This sub is capable of shaking your entire house. Rattling the walls and the piping inside the walls. If you like watching monster movies such as godzilla king of the monsters put it on one more time and you will see what I am talking about. I have bought high quality accessories, hardware to compliment the sub so it can't perform at its best and I have not been disappointed by my investment into this hobby. My family room measures 13x21 x 8ft tall. The sub fills the room with bass very nicely. I've broken in the sub. And I still dare not crank it full volume. It's so powerful. I'm more afraid of the damage it can do to the house rather than the sub blowing up. Since my family room sits under the kitchen and next to a full bathroom. The sub is a beast. Very happy with my purchase.

SVS is a well known home theater subwoofer company for internet direct purchases. I wanted to use remaining certificates so I used Magnolia to pick mine up. The size is intimidating for my first high quality subwoofer. Once I set it up, I was shocked by the difference in bass between a regular subwoofer and this. Watch the intro to Edge of Tomorrow where bass levels drop below 20 Hz and this thing rocks the house. On the other hand, it also doesn’t make bass where bass is not needed or at least not heavily needed. No more voice booming bass I was getting or distortion from music that really wasn’t bass heavy anyway. It can shake your house and also be very accurate and precise in bass reproduction. Keep in mind, this is for low movie bass extension, not necessarily the best for music levels compared to some others. Due to my room dynamics I will likely be ordering another due to some bass nulls in the 60-80hz levels to hopefully cancel it out

I am so happy with my subwoofer, this was my Christmas present and it rocks the house. SVS PB4000 is my dream subs and it dose not disappoint. I’m in LFE Heaven and my movies are next level better with this sub. It’s heavy but looks good and quality finish is exceptional, rare to have equipment that sounds and looks good. I also like the 5 year warranty with great customer service but at this price point it is expected.

Incredible value. I think this is discontinued by SVS, replaced by the 5000 revolution series. Very big. Very heavy. I used cardboard to get it downstairs and furniture sliders to put in place. Easy to set up. App is awesome! Delivered on palettes. Delivery person left a pair of these in my carport. It was supposed to require a signature, but that did not happen.

As a audiophile I can appreciate SVS ive tried them all and the 4000pb does the job for my large open space i have only 1 and about to order a 2nd 1 my wife and neighbors dont like me and i can care les its a bit exspensive but you get whats you pay for..

Super clean Bass, one of these will shake the house, hopefully I can convince the wife to let me get a 2nd one. It is worth the price.

Was looking for a sub that could really dig for my home theater and this definitely gets the job done. Currently just have one in the theater and it will get you good clean deep bass and rattle the rafters even when turned down. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a sub for a home theater setup.

Was afraid the huge speaker will overwhelm my room but it didnt. Does a super job in trembling the room in action packed movies. Highly recommended.

This the Best Sub I have ever heard in my life. looks Great and is well built.

Only one downside: it’s huge. But if you have the room it’s an amazing sub.
