Q: I need sharpness and clarity ....how is good is this lens with a NikonD7200?
A: I have a Nikon D7100, the model previous to your D7200. The 200-500mm works like a champ on it. In comparison to my older Nikon 1st gen 80-400mm, it finds focus way quicker, and seemingly more accurately. No more waiting while it "hunts" for a focus. In comparison to my Nikon f2.8 70-200mm, it is roughly the same, perhaps a tad slower but it's also a lot cheaper. Image quality is very nice. Sharp. Clear. Fast. It IS pretty heavy, fairly ponderous. But for "sharpness and clarity" on the D7200, I think you'll be pleased.
Q: Will this work with my nikon D3200?
A: No, it will not work with Nikon D3200.
Q: Will this model Tamron lens work with my Nikon Z6?
A: No, it is not compatible with Nikon Z6.
Q: will the Tamron 16-300 lens work on a Nikon D5600
A: Yes, this lens works with a Nikon D5600.
Q: Q:Will this lens work on a Canon 6D?
A: This lens is for Nikon cameras, there is version designed for Canon as well, I believe.
Q: Will this lends work on a hill in d60?
A: I believe it depends on if you are up the hill or down the hill.
Q: does this lens work well with FX format; e.g., Nikon D3X?
A: You can use DX lenses in crop mode and you will get the same FFOV you get on a DX camera but with less resolution because you are only using the middle part of the sensor. Or you can use them as FX lenses and accept vignetting in the corners. The amount will vary from lens to lens. I would not use this with a full frame sensor camera.
