You can use DX lenses in crop mode and you will get the same FFOV you get on a DX camera but with less resolution because you are only using the middle part of the sensor. Or you can use them as FX lenses and accept vignetting in the corners. The amount will vary from lens to lens. I would not use this with a full frame sensor camera.
