Q: Is this compatible with the Dell Inspirion 15 5000?
A: There are six different power tips in the box. I believe it would work with Dell. I have a Toshiba, and it worked even though Toshiba is not listed on the box (Dell is). I suggest you do what I did and bring your laptop into Best Buy. You can check it out before leaving the store. Good luck.
