We don’t have any regrets with this TCL TV. The size works well for our space and feels immersive without being excessive. The matte screen finish is especially useful and does a great job reducing glare in our bright living room. We chose this Mini-LED over an OLED because it handles bright rooms better, and in our situation it also made more sense from a pricing standpoint. For an 86-inch TV, it delivers strong picture quality without feeling like a compromise. The image looks sharp, colors are vibrant, contrast is good, and the TV gets bright without looking washed out. The interface is responsive and easy to navigate. Sound quality exceeded our expectations and has been enough that we haven’t felt an immediate need to add a soundbar. The remote is well designed. It feels sturdy while still being compact, and it’s more reliable than remotes we’ve used with higher priced TVs. The app-based remote also works well and is fast and responsive. We had seen some mixed opinions about TCL beforehand, so we opted for a 5-year warranty for peace of mind. So far, everything has been working as expected. Friends and family who have seen the TV in person are often surprised by how good it looks, and we’ve been asked more than once what model it is. This is a very large and heavy TV. We originally paid for delivery and professional installation, but with how Best Buy handled the delivery and install process, we ended up having to pick it up ourselves. It barely fit in a Tundra truck bed. Professional installation was still helpful given the size, though the coordination required more follow-up than expected. None of this reflects on the TV itself, but it’s something you may want to keep in mind if adding these extra services at checkout. We’ve run into a few minor issues specifically with YouTube Kids, but nothing that points to a problem with the TV itself. Overall, this was a solid choice for a large TV in a bright room, especially considering the size and price.

Overall this TV knocks it out of the park. Purchased this sight unseen due to it being so new. Online reviews gave me all the insight I needed. Best aspect is the mat screen. It cannot be understated how effectively this reduces reflective light. This is great for bright rooms. My living room has 10’ windows all around and this feature alone made this set far better than a brighter set. The second is the brightness doesn’t have to be eye scorching, to get a great picture. Ours is set lower and the auto settings allows it to slowly adjust throughout the day, so at night, you don’t suffer from eye fatigue. Colors seem slightly off so I turned off Dynamic color, which seemed to correct the issues. Local dimming is the way to go, getting the best that micro-LED can offer without the expense of OLED. Off axis is really good as well, due to newly designed LED lenses. Sound is good- if you adjust it, you can hear details and vocals but I’d suggest a sound bar. We paired ours with the Klipsch Core 210 and aren’t disappointed. Remote is very easy to operate and has background lit buttons, for easier navigation in the dark. Packaging is really well done. Only wish manufacturers would make it easier to attack the wall mount brackets, while still suspended in the styrofoam base. When unpacking, make sure to find and remove the metal feet up top, to avoid them falling and potentially damaging your TV or floor. They look very sturdy and have two mount points (wide and narrow). They come with mounting hardware as well. We didn’t use them and opted for a wall mount. Set weighs around 73 pounds, so make sure you have a helper. Hope this helps some of you. We purchased this during Memorial Day weekend and paid $1199, which was cheaper than a lot of older versions for sale. You can’t go wrong with this TV. My cats are mesmerized by it.

The price to performance and specs is truly unmatched. I could not have asked for it to look much better for a 1,000 bucks getting 85" with local dimming, 4k QD mini LED technology with gaming mode and 144hz and free sync and ALLM (AUTO LOW latency mode) and anti glare. that also sounds good?....it's awesome you won't be disappointed.

My old Vizio stopped working, so I went to Best Buy and picked up a TCL 85 inch television. It turned an annoying situation into a big upgrade for my living room. The picture quality on this TV is excellent. Colors look bright and accurate, blacks are deep, and the large screen makes movies, sports, and games feel very immersive. Even regular TV shows look better than they did on my old set. Setup was simple. The built in smart features are easy to use and I had my streaming apps installed and running in just a few minutes. The menus are clear and responsive, and I had no trouble getting everything configured. For sound I am using a 7.2 receiver, and that combination makes this TV feel like a real home theater. The TV works well with my receiver and the overall experience is great for both movies and gaming. Overall I am very happy with this TCL 85 inch. It is a huge step up from my old Vizio and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a large screen TV with a great picture and strong overall value.

I am a techy. And when my 82” LG turned blue. I went and studied the different types of technology that had come out in the last 7 years. This tv has mini led tech. The picture is stunning. I have put it through every test I can think of. From sports, to High HD content on YouTube. And it responds very well. I do find myself messing with the picture, setting such as vivid, sports, intelligent, and even IMAX on some movies. Once you play around with it and get your settings right that’s all you’re really change. Is the filter that is using. It has the best sound of any flat screen I’ve ever had. Two speakers that are very loud and a built-in subwoofer I paid 999 for this TV in 2000 for my LG 82 inch this one is a 85 and $1000 cheaper I’ve looked at ratings of different TVs out right now and TLC has risen to the top only to be second to Sony, which you cant buy a Sony this large with this tech, without paying well over 1000 more this TV is definitely the best deal on the market now. If I had any complaint, I wish the TV remote was programmable so I could control the volume of my surround sound system. But if your surroundsound system takes arc or earc hdmi you will be able to controll your sound system fine. The Bluetooth works but i believe its my sound sustem that looses connection from time to time.

I've been researching for a new TV for quite some time. I've watched many YouTube reviews and finally decided on this TV. It's a great TV for the budget. Excellent picture quality and good brightness. The TV has many adjustments that you could make according to your own preference. I connected my PC to this TV for web browsing and watching YouTube video.

85” model is huge. Replaced a Vizio 70” and this dwarfs it. Very clear picture—amazing colors. Tv is very bright with the screen being a matte black. Helps with glare from the sun—which I have. Very pleased. Speakers aren’t bad—I use external w/subwoofer tho

Wonderful size and screen display cor this tv. The anti glare finish really works. The mini led technology is really good with local dimming and the colors are vibrant. I’d recommend to a friend!

I bought this tv for my man cave. I wanted a tv that was aimed mostly at gaming. I run an Xbox series X and a PlayStation 5. It is a great tv for those things. I have an lg C3 oled in our 1st floor living-room and the picture quality is the same but the colors on the oled are only slightly better. I kinda regret spending the money on the oled because this tv seems just as good. As far as the streaming apps, it’s very fast and zips through the menu with no lag and loads everything quickly. I run a Roku 4K stick only because the Xfinity (cable) stream app is not on the google platform TV’s yet. But most other apps are. I own 5 TCL TV’s in total, 1 I have had for 6 years and they all work perfect. I did get the 5 year warranty in case anything happens but hope I never have to use it.

It’s a great tv at a great price. Love the matte screen for anti glare and imo the picture looks better on it. I have a tcl 85 without it and tho one is definitely nicer. Happy with the decision.

This is a beautiful TV, from the picture, to the sound, and the REFRESH RATE is amazing. The color is great, as it sits right next to my patio and the sun shines through; however, the picture is still clear and doesn't show the reflection as bad as my others.

Was a Samsung / LG TV buyer up until now. Saw the TCL QM6K, its features, and the price and I was sold. Main features for me: Full Array Local Dimming, and the matte screen finish. The matte screen finish is a game-changer in our family room. Lights from across the room that used to bother viewing with previous brands are now a non-factor. The full array local dimming gives me better black on the screen when needed. Sound is good quality for what we watch regularly. Google TV operating system was easy to figure out. My wife figured out the remote in under a minute. Got a great price when purchased and another $100 off when it went on a holiday sale a couple days after buying it. Would buy again.

This TV far exceeds all of my expectations! I am in love with the matte screen that reduces glare. The picture quality is perfect. The TV is absolutely enormous. It was overall pretty easy to mount with the mount recommended by the Best Buy employee.

This 85inch TV far exceeded my expictations. The colors the view and sound in the intelegent mode is amazing. The only issue I have with it. I wish it had recessed handles on the back cover to ease installation. We have it on a stand instead of a wall mount. Our living room can get really bright and the TV adjusts as the brightness changes. The blacks are black and zero reflections from lamps. I would highly reccomend this TV.

Unbelievably clear vibrant picture. The matte black screen allows me to have nature light and watch TV. I have a large picture window and was never able to have curtains open due to the glare on the screen, not anymore. Absolutely loving this TV.

This TCL 85” television exceeded expectations. The colors, the sharp contrasts, the image quality is just perfect. The sound, features, as well as the array of apps available makes it value for the money. Let me add how simple it was to install and setup, even for someone who has zero technical experience. I bought this TV for my husband as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves it. Overall, great TV and definitely value for the money

You can not beat the tv quality for this price. I bought it at a higher price and now that it’s $999 is even a better deal. Image is great, blacks are true and color pops. First tv I have bought in a while and I’m happy with it’s performance.

No joke, best tv I have ever had. It has gamer selection that you can add a dot in the center of the screen and you can select to have gaming hz displayed. Cyberpunk, Bannerlord 2, and YouTube looks amazing. I am really happy I listened to your employee about the tv being the best for gameing on xbox vs the black friday deals. I would buy again. The tv picture looks way better than the photos I loaded up in this review and Bannerlord doesn't need the center dot like Kingdom Deliverance 2, so it's not in photos.
