I have an LG OLED and a Panasonic Vierra from 2013 also have a Samsung 9000 series 4k 65 inch from 2014 it was the first 4k Samsung tv to come out and it was 10 grand at the time. So I have an exceptional knowledge of quality tvs and this TCL 98 inch QM6K mini led TV absolutely exceeded expectations. I had high doubts about the brand and the durability and quality but I have to say it’s the closest thing to my LG OLED. I love the size and the border is barely viable giving you a bit of a theater experience. I use a PS5 to watch all my movies stream and gaming. The PS5 gives it an extra boost of clarity and speed also it just looks better although the google play apps produce a nice picture as well for streaming but I find that streaming through the PS5 is much better. It’s not as bright as my OLED but it’s bright enough to where you won’t notice the difference unless they were side by side. On the other hand the contrast and color is just unmatched it’s by far better than any 98inch in its class. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I hooked up the TCL S55 2.1 soundbar and it truly upgraded the tv. It’s pushing 220 watts and the subwoofer gives you a theater like experience like no other in its class. I’m extremely happy with my purchase. And I highly recommend buying this set with the soundbar as an add on. With the soundbar it will get 5 stars.

Just picked up the TCL 98" QM6K and wow—this thing is a monster in the best way. The picture is insanely sharp, colors pop like crazy, and the brightness holds up even in daylight. Gaming on it feels like stepping into another world, and the built-in sound system actually surprised me—no soundbar needed. Setup was smooth, and Google TV makes streaming super easy. Honestly, it turned my living room into a legit theater. If you’ve got the space, this TV delivers big-time.

Excellent right out of the box, the brightness is perfect, plenty of settings to play with, google tv is fast, overall im very happy with the tv

I spent a lot of time researching tvs for our new house and ultimately ended up on a 2024 TCL QM7. despite it's high brightness levels and superior contrast, daytime use was almost unwatchable due to the high glare in our bright natural light living room. The 98 QM6K remedied that issue and honestly I can't tell a difference on brightness vs the QM7. Gaming features are nice, and the 4k 144hz was instantly recognized and working on my home theater PC. Very satisfied with the purchase and even ordered a second 85" of the same TV for upstairs. I have added a photo below of the matte 98 QM6K and the 98 QM7 with black screens to show the difference in how the matte affects day time watching vs high gloss/glare of the QM7

Amazing TV!!! 144hz is amazing for gaming. Crazy how good the blacks have gotten on non OLED displays. I was hesitant because all I've had is oleds but the trade off for size makes up for the 10% loss in quality. Plus the matte finish is a game changer.

Amazing for the space i have. The matte finish helps avoid glare from windows in the living room. Bestbuy may install service very easy. First watch was Jurasic park and was amazong to see the big dinos on the big screen. Ai upscaling where able helped increase the resolution and veiwing experience. Tv speakers are very good but so far using a sound bar has been better. Extremely nice to connect to my already existong google home services.

We have been very please with our TV. Watching tv has been amazing for the money. The best buy employees in the store attended to get me to buy a sony and I think the commission would have been better for him. I could not ask for more out of a TV for 1700.00 very pleased. The only thing I wish I had is having Ruko TV without going and buying a Ruko stick. All the other TCL TVs I have purchased were RuKo TVs.

I moved into a new house and there was place to hang a 100" tv for a home theater. My budget was limited and although this TV is not TOP OF THE LINE it is perfect for me. I watch my movies and use my PS5 on this beast. I LOVE IT!!! if you are looking for an awesome BIG TV and have a limited budget I would highly recommend this TV. and BEST BUY came to my house with it and hung it on my wall for FREE.. what could be better? THANK YOU BEST BUY!!

Great Tv! Mesmerizing ultra-large screen — ideal for movies, sports, and gaming. 4K Ultra HD resolution brings out finer details. Colors are rich and vibrant, and 4K content looks spectacular on such a large panel — especially films and nature documentaries.

I got this for my husband for his birthday, he has been wanting one for a long time. It has great sound and great color . The guys that delivered it did a outstanding job. We our so pleased and i would recommend this t.v 100 percent .

This tv is absolutely gorgeous. The picture quality is fantastic for the price. The sound quality of the tv itself is better than almost any other large flat screen that Ive heard. TCL makes a fantastic value friendly product.

This TV goes way beyond my expectations. Image is very sharp, I did replace my Samsung 75" by TCL MQ6K 98". Also, this mate panel doesn't reflect any light!

Really impressed with this TCL TV. I purchased the 98” after seeing it in the store next to the major brands. I’ve always been a fan of Samsung TVs but the value on this TCL is through the roof. The equivalent Samsung is about 6x the cost of this one and I think the picture quality, colors, deep blacks are still better on the TCL. Forget the “brand”, this TV is killer. Highly recommend.

Love this TV. It was a great upgrade to the room. Watching movies and sports on this tv is incredible. The guys who came to deliver and install it did a great job.

The tv is great! It’s like being in a theater in our house. The one thing people should remember about tvs like this is that the tv is for 7k but you will only get whatever your streaming service supports. It’s awesome though.
