If you liked little big planet you will love this
Just finished this and mostly loved it. The excellent art style and "meta" story are hugely enjoyable. Innovative gameplay too...it's a fairly long game but stays fresh by introducing new gameplay mechanics throughout, right up to the very end. Some of which are clever and unlike anything else I've played. Unfortunately the game is sometimes frustrating, and sometimes buggy. I had to replay probably three or four sections, because for example a door wouldn't open when it's supposed to, leaving no way to proceed. Worse yet, occasionally the controls are just awful. There's a flying segment near the end of the game that works so poorly I almost gave up. It took extreme patience to get through it, and once I did, it was followed by one of the most fun segments of the whole game, so I was glad I stuck with it. Go figure...it's a little inconsistent like that. Bad controls are borderline unacceptable in a game where the controls are so central to the experience that the characters break the fourth wall and talk about them!

Excellent remaking of Tearaway for the PS4
The original Tearaway for the Vita is a masterpiece, no doubt about it, and Tearaway Unfolded deserves to be etched in the history books as one of the greatest of this generation. It is not simply a port of the Vita version to the PS4, it is a remaking of the original that has been masterfully crafted to uniquely take advantage of the PS4's capabilities. The story-telling in this game is top-notch and you will love the character's and your sense of ownership over their journey. A great game for adults and kids alike. In fact, the family may enjoy playing this game together, taking turns solving the puzzles, finding secrets, and creating things for the characters to wear and use. Highly recommended.

Beautiful PS Vita port on PS4
It is more a remake than a remaster and full of creativity. Everything that was awesome on the PS Vita is more awesome on the PS4. Its bigger, better and more creative in the way you can play. The Story is extremely heartwarming and you play the whole time with a big smile on your face. When you're looking for an experience like the old days when you was a child than play Tearaway Unfolded and show it to your friends and family, they will love it too. And also try the PS Companion App. You can connect to the game directly and a friend next to you can draw some cool stuff with your smartphone and can bring it to your game asap.

Solid Platformer with Neat ideas
If you enjoyed the original version on the Vita you will enjoy this one as well. The developers do a good job of getting you into the game from the get go. Gameplay is top notch which is key for a good platformer. Solid ideas and the art style is one of the best aspects of this game.

Very Good Conversion of the Vita Original
Tearaway is a very unique platform/puzzle game made by the same folks who created LitlteBigPlanet. It was originally on the PS Vita and made use of nearly every hardware feature (gyro controls, rear touchpad, both cameras, etc.). However, it sold poorly despite rave reviews. Tearaway Unfolded is essentially the original Tearaway but converted to make use of the hardware features of the DualShock 4. It also runs at 1080p and a buttery-smooth 60fps. Personally, I prefer the original Vita version gameplay wise, but if you want to experience Tearaway (but don't have a PS Vita), this is a good alternative. My only real complaints with Tearaway in general that while it does have visual charm, it gets rather boring at times and seems to drag at some points in the game. I still recommend the game, but try the demo first to see if this is worth a buy for you. Its gameplay may not exactly appeal to everybody.
