If you like music documentaries, this is a must own. To see the Fab Four striped down in their element is hard to beat. The seriousness of McCartney, the playfulness of Lennon, the patience of Starr and the slight immaturity of Harrison. You will never see these guys this human in any other film. A must.

I was younger nine years old when Beatle mania came to America loved Paul from the start loved seeing the old sessions when we’re all younger. Best show for me a senior to be able to see - love it!

I have the Blu-ray set of this. If you're a fan of what The Beatles accomplished as a group or individually, this is a must-see documentary. During a four-week period in February 1969, they sequestered themselves in two locations to set about writing and recording all the new songs for their 'Let It Be' album. You see some of their greatest work materialize out of thin air. A melody here... a phrase there... missing words filled in... then changed to something better. A word to Ringo-only fans: though a constant presence throughout, he hardly says a word! You'll be amazed at how quiet he is. You'll definitely enjoy watching 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer' being created. The Blu-ray version was pristine, probably the best documentary imagery I've seen from that period of time. I was in awe of its color, clarity, beauty and sound. And after more than seven fascinating hours (in my case, viewed across 3 nights), you're treated to their final LIVE performance... alone worth the price of the entire set. Seeing them totally rock out as a group had me smiling and in awe throughout that performance. Thank you, Peter Jackson, for all you and your team did to bring us this amazing treat!

Everything Peter Jackson promised. The clarity is unbelievable. This is 1969 and if I didn't know better, I'd swear it was being live streamed on the best gear money could buy. The rest aside - it's The Beatles creating in the studio... 'nuff said.
