Tom Hanks and Bruce Dern are too funny in this nightmare of a comedy spoofing typical suburban life. They are thinking their new shut in neighbors are murdering elderly people. Epic comedy. Great restoration.

The Burbs is an awesome film about modern suburbia, with one house on the block where all the neighbors wonder why this one family keeps to them selves. It a must see, the Blue Ray edition released an alternate ending!

I've been waiting forever for The 'Burbs to get a blu-ray release and when I found out Best Buy was the only store to put this out, it was a day one purchase for me!! Good picture and sound quality but it is very bare bones, only bonus features it comes with is an alternate ending and teaser trailer but it's great 80's fun.

This is one of those movies that you'll pop in every now and then but doesn't really stick with you that much. I couldn't tell you any of the lines or plots of the movie. It's not a bad movie by any means. It's just....there. If you're a Tom Hanks fan, you'll probably like this movie. For me, it just....exists.

Now here is a film that truly shows the mindset of neighbors in this little 80s jem called simply, The burbs. The insane conspiracies, the madness of the occult, slapstick humor, and a great cast makes this movie unforgettable. I dont like to spoil movies on reviews, so if your reading this, please buy it and watch it. You also get Director Joe Dante's original workprint of the movie which features deleted/extended scenes and alternate ending. I love this Neighborhood!
