About this product
A timeless rock & roll band for the modern world, The Prescriptions sharpen their sound with Time Apart. Produced by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes) and Brendan Benson (The Raconteurs), the album funnels a half-century of American and British influences - including taut power pop, explorative indie rock, jangling heartland hooks, and New Wave nuances - into something sharp and singular. The result is a warm, widescreen follow-up to The Prescriptions' 2019 debut, Hollywood Gold, it's songs balanced halfway between classic craftsmanship and progressive exploration. Fiery and forward-looking, Time Apart explores both sides of the pop/rock divide. It's a 21st century album rooted in everything that made the classic stuff so compelling - sharp songwriting, ringing refrains, percussive stomp, and guitars that chime one minute and churn the next. Time Apart is an album for the heart, head, and hips. The Prescriptions have been never been shy about nodding to the hook-driven rockers who came before them, but here, they carry those influences into uncharted territory, uncovering something that's truly theirs along the way. It was time together that created Time Apart, and The Prescriptions have never defined their ambition or abilities so clearly before. Album Tracks 1. April Blossoms 2. Long Past Tonight 3. Love Is Red 4. I Get Lost 5. Compartmentalize 6. Fire Moon 7. On Satellite 8. Not the Issue 9. I Might Try 10. Baby Be Nice 11. Camp Hill

![Feed La - Hikaye / The 3rd First Day - 12-INCH SINGLE [12 inch Vinyl Single]](https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/7ea3968c-7aad-403a-83fa-71e26ab6baed.jpg;maxHeight=422;maxWidth=264?format=webp)
Feed LA is 4 hyper-talented and incredibly precise musicians letting loose in a Berlin studio. While their heady, creative approach to Jazz, and Post-Rock instrumentals is strictly controlled and delicately accurate, their recordings somehow simultaneously seethe with freedom, unity and an improvised boundless energy one might call 'Free Pop'. Feed LA has captured the intriguing middle-ground moment a musical hypothesis becomes an experiment. They not only lasso the essence of their artistic storm, but shape and mold it's center as well. Album Tracks 1. The 3rd First Day 2. Hikaye
Drop the needle anywhere on The Darkness' Motorheart and be instantly transported from this moaning and weeping vale of tears to Elysian fields of rock where all hands are raised, the drinks - just as in the Club Tropicana of yore - are free, and everyone wears a pleasingly salacious grin. Does it rock? Is the sun hot? Has your partner's touch grown cold? The Darkness are the Orwellian boot stamping on the flaccid face of limp rock, forever! Motorheart brims with the UK glam rock giants' trademark blazing guitar riffs and solos, soaring falsetto and immeasurable rock 'n' roll extravagance. Regarding the title track single, Justin Hawkins says, Inch'Motorheart' rocks harder than anything we've done before. It makes me happy and proud to crank it up and literally shake my Swiss chalet to it's foundations. Dan did an awesome job on the production, it'll take your face off, but your skull will be grinning from meatus to meatus.Inch Album Tracks 1. Welcome Tae Glasgae 2. It's Love, Jim 3. Motorheart 4. The Power and the Glory of Love 5. Jussys Girl 6. Sticky Situations 7. Nobody Can See Me Cry 8. Eastbound 9. Speed of the Nite Time
