  An outstanding TV western series, 'The Virginian' occupied a 90 minute time slot throughout the 1960s. Each episode is roughly 75 minutes long, and is a "mini-movie". Great plots and occasional plot twists, with fine guest stars as well as a stellar weekly cast. Not every episode is cheerful or has a happy ending, but the story lines are engrossing and very well written. One caveat: These dvds don't have subtitles, so you'll need to turn up the sound if you're hard of hearing.

  Have not watched them yet. Fast service and the prices you cant pass up. My dad use to love watching the series. And my mom started watching after my dad passed away. I love watching them on tv as well. Makes me feel closer to my dad.
