I have had 2 different induction cooktops. My first was a Samsung. It was super easy to use and the actual burner lights turned blue when in use. The burners were round so I knew where to put the pan to keep it hot. This Thermador cooktop does neither. My pans are bigger than the narrow zones so I find myself moving the pan to make sure it cooks evenly. It does look nice and I love how easy it is to clean. It looks nice with the frameless edges. It does cook nicely.
