This was a good buy. It replaced the 20-year-old Cooper analog unit that got water in it. The ThermaPro Digital Instant-Read Meat Thermometer is quick-reading, lightweight, and easy to use and store. The length allows me to take a reading without getting my hand too near the heat. Storage is simply replacing the protective rubber end sheath and sticking it on the refrigerator.

I like the magnet on the back, the length, the speed that it reads temperatures, and the price.

I have been using an eco lab thermometer I got from a friend that works as a cook at a restaurant. It finally bit the dust. This is my replacement, frankly wish I had done it sooner. It is easy to use reads the temp very quickly and can probe deeper than my old one. No need to buy a super fancy one this works and gives me peace of mind that meats are at a safe temp before I give them to my family
